Someone like bamford will be a good 3rd option and most importantly HG. We will be losing JT next year (probably) and gwtting someone who is not HG since I can't think of any WC HG option. Also, if we sell cech, we might have to buy a back up GK too. Mark will be 42 next year. Though when I think about it, he's almost 17. By the times he us 21 cesc will be 31/32, matic will be 29 and pogba mid twenties so I don't see why he would stop him. I have always said we need a first team right winger to progress the next level, the greatest teams of past have always had a team which everyone could name the first 11. With Omeruo and Kalas having gone out for the whole season are we allowed to recall them or are they 'lost' to us for the season come what may? Is there even a rule about this or is it subject only to agreement between the clubs? If we can recall one of those two for emergency cover, I don't think we'll feel the need to buy a CB in January. I would like to see us buy also a CM or a RW or both but it's not as necessary as the CB.In the next seasons we need to buy players to replace Terry, Luis and Ivanovic... starting with Terry that is the older one.I would buy Varane if he is available for a good price, if not buy a 23, 24, 25 years old great defender, with experience playing in a great level and that can play for us for 5 or 6 years.We don't need anymore to buy 5 or 6 players each season, so I think that if is necessary to garantee a great CB to spend 30/35M£, just do it. The best young player we have is Boga and he is the only one that will have an important contribution for us. Zouma needs 1 or 2 seasons to see if he is good enough (like Varane needed, in the first season everyone in Spain was asking why Real Madrid bought a player like Varane because he was so bad). Maybe for some seasons one or other can have a good contribution...But all this hype with the kids I don't understand it.In the last 10 years I saw people in Real Madrid asking for Morata, Mata, Soldado, Negredo, Javi Garcia, Granero, Borja Valero, Carvajal, Jesé, José Rodriguez, Nacho and many others. The only 2 with quality to play in Real Madrid consistently are Jesé and Carvajal... and Carvajal is not that good also.Anyway...We can have a young player has 4th CB until he proves something, or a young player has 3rd ST, or 2nd LB since Azpi an play in both. Imo.Ake made his first start in 2012 and has already been with the first team before. i dont consider ake a chelsea youth product...ZOuma was starting in ligue 1 already.guys like chabolah, baker, loftus cheek are, but ake was already on first team and came from the dutch farm system. If Chelsea can get 2 guys on first team, than the youth system would be a success. Not yet, but Rabiot said he agreed to move there, he was convinced he was going to Roma but that didn't happen.Rudi yesterday said they are interested in him, and he thinks he will be available in January.
