At RB, Walker also turns 30 towards the end of next season and I am positive they do not see Danilo as Walker's long terms replacement (both talent wise and age wise, as he only has 2 years left of sub 30yo play as well). The two big needs they also have are a Fernandinho back/up replacement (they are insane if they do not try and cut a deal for Neves) and a CB to replace the spent, often-injured Kompany and the wuthless Otamendi.. David Silva turns 34 in 10 months so they will have to look to replace him soon, as well. If they go true (as MJ says) Billy Big Balls, they might shift Bernardo Silva back to MF to replace David Silva and make a move for Mbappe in the next several years. I see the players they would possibly sell or let go soon as Claudio Bravo Otamendi Kompany Mangala (massive bust, our Drinkwater, but even worth less) Mendy (if they bought both Chilwell and Junior Firpo and sold Oleksandr Zinchenko as well, or even better, buy Lucas Hernandez as he is a yop 4 LB as well and give CB cover) Oleksandr Zinchenko (see above) Danilo (if they bought Wan-Bissaka) Fabian Delph David Silva If they sold/let go all of those they would raise £175-200m or so That would pay for Neves (I will guess they (or we) could get Wolves to sell for £85m or so) and de Ligt (£90m or so) or Skriniar/Lucas Hernandez/Koulibaly/Marquinhos/Giminez They would still have to buy 2 LB's (Firpo and Chilwell? that would be £95m), a RB (Wan-Bissaka would cost around £35m or so, maybe £40m), another backup CB (unless they keep Kompany), a backup GK (easy enough to find or keep Bravo) and another CMF all that would cost around £180-220m net they obviously have that type of money obviously they wont make all those moves, but many will happen
Vesper 31,180
Confirmed: Tottenham Watch 'Nigerian Eden Hazard' Score Two Goals, Win Penalty https://www.allnigeriasoccer.com/read_news.php?nid=31051 'Nigerian Eden Hazard' Jayden Bennetts was the star of the show as Watford sealed their place in the quarterfinals of the FA Youth Cup following their 4-1 rout of Ipswich Town on Tuesday evening. Watford confirmed during the game staged at Wingate & Finchley FC that Tottenham Hotspur scout David Pleat was in the crowd for the FA Youth Cup tie, and must have taken down plenty of notes after an all-action first half. Bennetts and Nigerian-born midfielder Emmanuel Adebiyi were named in the starting line-up and both went the distance for the Hornets. The Nigeria U20 invitee broke the deadlock when he smashed home from 20 yards with his left foot in the tenth minute. It was 3-0 Watford after 25 minutes, thanks to skipper Ryan Cassidy who converted a spot kick after Bennetts was brought down in the box by Scott, before Hughes reduced the deficit on 34 minutes. Twenty minutes into the second half, the Flying Eagles hopeful effectively ended the game as a contest when he scored his second goal of the game. Jayden's elder brother, Keanan Bennetts, was on the books of Tottenham Hotspur before switching to German outfit Borussia Moenchengladbach last summer. snip Jayden Bennetts Date of Birth (Age): Jun 26, 2001 (17) Citizenship: England Position: Attacking Midfield Watford U18 Country: England Main position : Attacking Midfield Date of Birth: Jun 26, 2001 Age: 17 Citizenship: England Position: Midfielder - Attacking Midfield Current club: Watford FC U18

kc_blue 265
The lack of foresight and planning to put us in this position is hard to swallow. Trying to save money every year is going to wind up costing us a lot more in the long run. There needs to be a lot of incomings and outgoings this off season and I can't remember us doing more then 3 or 4 incoming players in a long while. Its this whole 1 out 1 in malarkey we are supposed to have! Still waiting to see who replaces Cescy! With No DOF we dont have the skills needed to be real busy at the club. Its our whole system that needs to be looked at not only on the pitch. Directors - Granny Penny Pinscer needs sacking and some football types need to come in. Need to look at our whole transfer set up and scouting. Academy - the loan system, a structured path for them to be cherry picked in to the 1st team or sell them if we can't see them getting better after a 2 year loan. Need to sort out our identity. A direction the club needs to go in. We dont have one. Using managers with similar styles, Right now we have a patchwork quilt of a tem put together by 3 managers with different styles. The previous 2 were more defenfer orientated and we lost our basic instinct to score goals and offend!!! It makes sense these players cant adapt to Sarris style. We need to knock the walls of our house of cards down and rebuild it from the foundations up! kc_blue

As it stands, there are only 4 sub 30yo acceptable (and remotely available targets) Icardi Dybala Werner Jovic none will be easy at all getting one is a absolute must if we have any hopes of getting back into CL and title contention plus a shit tonne other upgrades everyone but Kepa, Rudiger, and Kante (assuming Hazard and CHO leave and Reece James is not ready to go full time starting RB), all but those needs to be replaced/upgraded its a monstrous task, but if we liquidated (a huge chunk of the loan army including the ex first-teamers, plus the Eden and CHO cash) we will have close to or even more than £600m if the bans actually do hit, and hit before we are well into the upgrades, we are fucked for years
