Wow. That is all. Honestly, I never really took notice of of him until tonight.

Be great if we signed him, but I can't see it...maybe we can hope that Roman might realise that scoring 4 against Real Madrid in the CL semi-final is more impressive than scoring 3 against us in a glorified friendly... :o

Lewandowski's market rate just went up after last nite's performance ... another couple of performance at the highest level and i m sure his transfer would touch to that of Falcao despite having a year left on his contract....

Would had been a perfect signing for Chelsea but we are more concerned in bring Schurrle .....

Lewandowski has agreed deal with Bayern, Bayern bidding €25m for summer move, Dortmund holding firm for the moment

Dortmund made Lewandowski another offer after Götze news broke, but he said no.

Lewandowski has no release clause, out of contract in 2014

My understanding: there's has been no contact whatsoever from Man Utd since BVB said no to a package deal with Shinji in May 2012

Man City offered Dzeko swap when both clubs met in the autumn - Dortmund said no

If he doesnt join us , hope he follows Huntelar and re-signs with BVB.

This! At least it keeps BuLi interesting and Dortmund have the Gotze money to reinvest in the squad.

Amazing performance last night. The third goal was sensational.

We should offer Dortmund Lukaku, Piazon or De Bruyne on loan as part of the deal. It would be probably be to good to be true though as we would get the best striker in the world and Klopp would improve one of our promising youngsters for us and get them to a level near Reus, Gotze and Gundogan!!! :eyebrows:

His contract only runs till next summer so it could well end up being a case of taking 30-40 million euros now or watching him go for free next year so if Lewandowski was cuntish enough to only accept a move to Bayern, I'm afraid it would leave Dortmund without options. If / when he doesn't join Chelsea, I seriously hope he will stay at Dortmund. They've got a great team to watch and with Götze already gone it would be bad if Lewandowski left too, especially if he were to join one of our PL rivals.

Found something brilliant:

25m€? That's a steal if Bayern get away with that. Surely we should be looking at Robert for that price...

No no no. Roman obviously wants another big expensive 50m toy to play with.....

I do really hope his 4 goals yesterday would have caught Roman's or the board's attention, if it hasn't already!

Reports in Germany today suggest they have opted for the former with the player's agent Maik Barthel suggesting Dortmund have sanctioned his departure. "We have reached an agreement with a club and intend (him) to move this summer," Barthel told Sport Bild.

"There is a very interesting offer for Robert which fulfils entirely the demands set by Dortmund and also the demands of Robert. Dortmund have assured us that Robert can move at the end of the season under these conditions. We stick to agreements and now it's up to the clubs to sort things out."

Please let it be us.

I don't think Dortmund will sell Lewandowski to Bayern. They wouldn't want to reinforce them even more.

With Gotze they simply had no say due to the releaseclause but with Lewandowski there's no releaseclause.

So they'reprobably more willing to sell to a foreign team.
