Juan Mata

But you're missing the key element here: if we had waited till the summer, we would be lucky to sell him for 20-25m. That is the incentive to sell him now when utd are panic-buying.

I completely disagree!

I honestly think there would be clubs desperately enough to bid 30mi or so (not 37, but close enough). Even United would be more desperate if they miss UCL!

But that is just a feeling and we will have to agree to disagree because there is no way one can convince one another...

“The Times” claimed Mata asked to leave - but here’s another story:

The Telegraph

Contrary to claims Mata, Chelsea player of the year for the past two seasons, has not had to ask to leave with Mourinho accepting that the scale of United’s offer is too big to refuse given his priorities in strengthening his team lie elsewhere. The bid is at a level that it will have been deemed impossible to turn down by the Chelsea board.

How about this for a plan :

- We sell Mata for £37 million.

- Buy Salah (who actually fits the system we're playing) to replace Mata as a squad player.

- Buy Shaw/Costa now.

- Buy the one we don't get in the summer.

- Sit back and watch us demolish every team we come across including man united with Mata.

How about do all of that and sell Mata to a different team in the summer?

At least there's definitely no trophy for United this year. Cunts.

Funny thing is, their fans won't give a flying fuck and neither will the press because they're getting a top player. All the pressure on them in the past few weeks is disappearing.

Exactly! Besides what he's done for the club, you really realise what a smug egotripping narcissist he really is, eg. the Casillas situation what's even worse are the ''I trust Mourinho'' sheep who honestly are the ones that probably are plastics and don't give a damn about sports principles, in this case, selling to a vermin rival.

What you mean the Casillas that Ancelotti also has dropped? didn't think that one through did you?

He's the best no. 10 at the club by a distance so I'd rather he stayed but he's too good to be sitting on the bench every week. If the best way to secure regular playing time is by moving club then good luck to him.

Shame he never got a good run of games playing behind the striker this season to show us what we all know he can do.
