  1. There are few things better in life than seeing Man United getting completely fucked over
  2. Agreed it sounds very tacky and shit. I just like the occasional dance to Tom Hark, Samba De Janeiro, or the Darts music at Reading at away days around the country. When you go to Wigan, you realize that dancing around to a stupid song when you score every other week is the only thing that brightens the place up a bit
  3. The only good Brazilian music is Norwich's goal song...
  4. If any of you fancy a laugh just have a browse through this guy's tweets: https://twitter.com/Ifield74 absolute comedy gold. I never thought Fulham fans could get slightly agitated? Anyway, complete bollocks, taking the piss out of our support when they can't sell out 3,000 tickets for a local derby and what is basically their cup final. Absolute tin pot shite. This is the same bunch, taking the piss out of us, who don't often take more than 1,000 to away games and have bollocks for home support. Honestly, I'd be embarrassed to be a home fan at Craven Cottage- they are the quietest home fans you will ever see.
  5. He needs to learn to take corners that clear the first man
  6. Not sure what you expected of him to be honest. It was his first start, not to mention his first Champions League start. If that is in reference to Ryan Bertrand, he had already made 100+ appearances in English football, was 2 years older and made his league debut against a Birmingham side that was basically already relegated.
  7. Agreed that they have all had to work incredibly hard to get where they are, playing at the top level but a lot of these players are world class football players, some of the supposed best in the world. Why do they struggle to beat teams like Brentford for example? When we drew 2-2 with them last season we had Ivanovic, Cole, Lampard, Oscar starting that match. No disrespect to Brentford but these players in particular (not to mention the others in the side on tens, maybe hundreds of thousands of pounds per week) are touted as some of the greatest players in the world. There is a huge gulf in class between these players and League One Brentford. Regardless of Rafa's tactics, the rubbish pitch or whatever, these players should be capable of beating a side 2 leagues below us. So why did it take us a replay to beat them? Surely if, with such talented players out, we had a greater desire to win than Brentford, we would have won? Brentford battled harder than us though, they wanted it more than us, each and every player for them gave 100%. In my opinion at least, they had a greater desire to win than us. I know that that is not the same as us 'not having a desire to win'. We did have a desire to win that day, like we do every single game. But what is the point of having a desire to win if the opposing team has a greater desire to win than you? The Brentford situation can be likened to many other less extreme examples. There are lots of mid table sides in the Premier League that have turned us over, home and away in recent years. The top 4 teams in the league tend to have 'world class players' in abundance whereas mid table teams have 'very good players'. There is a gulf in class between Eden Hazard and Adam Johnson for example and this sort of comparison continues through the entire team. We and other top 4 teams have a larger amount of world class players which is why we are more successful. If we have much better players than them, why have we been turned over by the likes of Aston Villa, Sunderland, Newcastle, West Brom for example in the last few years? In games against these sides in recent years we have not just been 'unlucky with them nicking a goal on the counter attack' but actually outplayed. It is because they wanted it more. Every member of the team has worked amazingly hard to get to playing for Chelsea. They wanted it and have worked for it but when we get outplayed against lesser sides I do question how much they 'want it' in a match. Sometimes it doesn't seem like the same desire that got them there in the first place. I don't think we have ever gone out to play with an attitude where we 'don't care' but there are often occasions where I feel that the opposing team have a greater desire to win than us.
  8. found out today I'll be helping in the installation of new TV broadcasting satellite systems at Stamford Bridge next month. Means I'll get to be in some BT promo video but might have to walk along the roof of the East stand
  9. Bring back rafa? We don't stand a chance against steaua, according to their fans we should respect them because they are the best team in eastern Europe or something. Awful atmosphere tonight, nobody really gave a fuck, which was perfectly reflected by the players, with the exception of willian and oscar. The only good thing was the fight outside the shed turnstiles, made for a good pre game laugh
  10. the club won't listen. They care more about little kids and grumpy old shits being pleased because people are sitting down. They always pull out the 'health and safety' excuse as well and often chuck out people who persistently stand or encourage others to. (Even though they let away fans stand up). It wouldn't up our attendance because we can't increase the capacity of the ground by taking away seats and replacing with standing areas because standing isn't legal in the Premier League and we can't increase capacity anyway because of health and safety, evacuation procedure etc. There are also lots of people in the MH and Shed who are below 18 who are actually quite loud as well, whereas there are also miserable old twats who shout 'sit down' at them and don't make any noise at all and really should be in the East or West stands if they are going to be quiet
  11. this isn't as exciting as the Steaua Bucharest pre match thread will be we should all be intelligent enough to think in the same way as Steaua fans and realize that they will top the group with 18 points, beating us 3-0 home and away
  12. Spurs and West ham are always a good away atmosphere. Cup games where we get a large allocation like Southampton and Leeds last season are also good.
  13. If everyone was so awful how did we manage to create so many chances that we had 20 shots?
  14. It's not that I think eto is shit or that we should sell him etc. He just hasn't looked sharp enough and we are chasing the game
  15. Too many stupid long balls out from defence
  16. £634 but I'm 17 so have a child ST and don't drink before/after matches.
  17. He wants to win. Is that not a good thing? The media will take it completely out of context of course...
  18. Well that is one evening of my life I can never get back...
  19. No point renaming it, we will just get Kojo moaning again
  20. I want a kebab Might go away from the forum for a while, just need to focus on other shit like pissing around at school, drinking and just generally getting wankered at weekends. That is what life is for
