  1. you're right Niall Quinn, just like the opening ceremony of the Olympics! Moron.
  2. All of you get off Torres' back. We need to support him. He will come good eventually, he isn't getting the service because we don't have any creative players! He always gives 100%, tracks back, tackles, shoots. He will come good tonight, there were glimpses of him against United on Monday that showed glimpses of the old Torres.
  3. They sound like a bunch of incredibly deluded idiots. Would probably get on quite well with this lot for that reason
  4. Looks like Liverpool v United will be a bit more tasty on Sunday after Liverpools official Twitter account endorsed a tweet mocking the Munich air disaster
  5. Slightly off topic, but would love to see the forum invasion wars between Fenerbahce and Steaua Bucharest fans if they played each other...
  6. I blame Kojo I'm assuming we are going to start David Luiz? Is there any guarantee that he is fit enough to start? Would also be interesting to start Lukaku up front as he will be quite unfamiliar to Bayern.
  7. will people then moan about him for being played on the left wing and not being able to get past arguably the best right back in the world?
  8. Sorry if I'm missing something but why is everyone hoping Ba will go and not the same with Torres? Ba, in half a season, accomplished far more than Torres has in his tenure here. He does also put in a lot of effort. He was offside numerous times against Villa last Wednesday but that's because the attacking midfielders didn't release the ball quick enough. He was pointing where he wanted the ball, they wouldn't play it and he'd be offside. Some people seem to have given up on him after half a season. (He also missed several games last season with a broken nose diving for a ball Torres wouldn't have gone for in a million years) He scored some important goals up until April, most notably against the two Manchester clubs in the FA Cup. He has been pretty shit since the, not going to lie, but is it really fair to judge him over 5 months and decide he should be shipped out and back Torres for 2 or whatever years? He's really not that bad. I'm not saying he should be starting every game but with good service, which he would be getting, he would provide 15+ goals a season (if he was a regular starter). Can't we get rid of Fernando Tosspot instead?
  9. give it a rest will you? It was the mickey fucking mouse cup, Steaua actually took it seriously and thought they'd had won the thing when they beat us. We only needed to play well for 45 minutes to score 3 goals and send you packing.
  10. Pony group. Boring. Would have liked at least 1 decent team there
  11. Get on with it infantino you egg headed dick
  12. How long has neymar been on the pitch? That was the first time I noticed him
  13. Diego simeone has done a really fantastic job at atletico. They are more than holding their own against barca tonight, playing some lovely passing football. Well done to him.
  14. Haha brilliant the qphaha pikey boys must be kicking themselves- they would have been playing us in what would have been the biggest game of their next 5 seasons. Lets give them a guard of honour before the game for knocking out that shitstain of a club
  15. Terry and Luiz, although Ferreira and Ivanovic worked very well at home to Sunderland a few years back too...
  16. So now you are saying that my head is up my own arse because I said I was at the game? It doesn't give me any power, I was just saying it because you accused me of not even watching it. You always have to go on the offensive don't you Sloth? I don't even understand what you are on about in your final paragraph. I don't get what you are trying to say. Is it that you think I am a twat who thinks I have some God-given right to be the 'best' poster on here, who has an opinion that matters more than anyone else's and think things were better pre-Abramovich? All I will say is that I have argued my point and you just respond by spouting shit about me and accusing me of having an elitist attitude which I don't have. If you call losing by a margin of 2 goals an embarrassment (2 late goals) playing against one of the best strikers in the world the most embarrassing game you have ever seen then I'm surprised. Being taken to FA Cup replays against Southend and Brentford when we have fielded a strong XI have been far more embarrassing IMO.
  17. No I never saw the game. I was at the bloody game! I didn't say it wasn't an embarrassment just that there have been far more embarrassing games.
  18. Neither of those two were the most embarrassing in our history. I can't believe you brought up the 5-3- yes we conceded 5, we also scored 3. We were not humiliated that day, just didn't play very well. In my 17 year lifetime defeats away to Barnsley and at home to a truly awful QPR side will live much longer in the memory. I know for a fact that there have been more embarrassing games that those in years before. Its the community shield of Europe. If it was as important as some people make out then why is it now being played at venues around Europe to try to increase attendance? Why is it being played in stadium in stadiums with capacities averaging 25,000? Surely it would be played at larger venues if it was so important. In 2014 its being played in Cardiff City stadium- you know the small shit one where Cardiff play, in 2015 its being played in the middle of a forest in Georgia. Why do UEFA not give it the same coverage too? We have already won it as well, its not like some sort of Holy Grail that has eluded us for years- its a silly little vase for a trophy. Teams don't really go running around the pitch hugging each other and doing massive celebrations when they win it.
  19. would just like to take this opportunity to congratulate Liverpool, who battled bravely through 120 minutes to defeat the mighty Notts County. Always a difficult game, especially if you decide to put your multi-million pound squad out at home to a side 2 divisions below yourselves. Well done Liverpool.
  20. Ah the Super Cup, brings back fond memories doesn't it Term?
  21. Why did Chelsea just get referred to as a 'brand'? I feel sick now...
