    • We need this bad.
    • I don’t think Delap & Guehi are TOP class or anything but I’d actually welcome both in the summer at this point just because I’m sick and tired of players coming in from other leagues and flopping. I’m not saying we shouldn’t buy non-PL players at all this coming window, but filling our biggest areas of need with guys who can instantly settle and who have been playing PL football for years could be huge.  We’re already going to have several young guys coming in like Estevão, Andrey Sant
    • Chelsea's two sporting directors, Paul Winstanley and Laurence Stewart, have continued to look at younger options and are believed to be keen on the likes of Benjamin Sesko, Liam Delap and Jonathan David as we head into final leg of the season. via@SkySportsLyall
    • cant see murilo joining us after this season and a cl qualification.
    • Shame Caicedo didn't get that goal - unbelievable performance from him as usual. Baffled that anyone does not rate this guy. Imo he's the most likeable player in the squad by far from a fan PoV, puts everything on the line for us game after game. Always turns up and steps up when others do not. There is nothing I dread more than him picking up an injury or a suspension - we just don't have enough to get by without him imo.
    • ‼️Chelsea are in the market for a powerful number nine, and are looking at Liam Delap, Benjamin Sesko, Viktor Gyökeres and Alexander Isak, although Chelsea won't move for the latter unless they feel Newcastle are genuinely prepared to sell. Osimhen is looking most likely to move to Saudi Arabia, having come close to joining Al-Ahli before the Jeddah-based side eventually added Ivan Toney instead. Several Saudi clubs have expressed an interest in Osimhen, including Al-Qadsiah. via@Jacob
    • Chelsea’s sale of women’s team to themselves still being assessed by Premier League https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6252232/2025/04/04/Chelsea-ffp-womens-team-sale/ Chelsea’s sale of their women’s team to themselves is still being assessed by the Premier League and will not count towards UEFA’s Financial Fair Play (FFP) rules. On Monday, Chelsea released a statement regarding their financial results for the year ending June 30, 2024, and reported a pre-tax profit of £128.4m
    • Chelsea’s Romeo Lavia and Wesley Fofana undergo scans on muscular injuries – Enzo Maresca https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6254873/2025/04/04/Chelsea-injury-news-fofana-lavia/ Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca has said Romeo Lavia and Wesley Fofana have had scans on muscular injuries and is awaiting news on a timescale for their absences. Lavia and Fofana missed Chelsea’s 1-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday with the issues and have already been ruled out of Sunday’s
    • Latest Israeli airstrikes kill 100 Palestinians -mostly children at school The attack on the school in the Tuffah neighborhood of Gaza City has been branded a "heinous massacre" Israel’s military said the stepped-up offensive is intended to pressure Hamas and eventually expel the militant group, stressing it was a "Hamas command and control centre" in the Gaza Strip.   Israel gave the same reason — striking Hamas militants in a "command and control centre" — for attacking a United
    • Enzo Maresca needed Chelsea’s win against Spurs – for his relationship with the fans https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6254067/2025/04/04/Chelsea-tottenham-enzo-maresca/ Enzo Maresca desperately needed Chelsea’s 1-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur to build some rapport again with supporters. Stamford Bridge has not had a positive atmosphere for a game like this since before Christmas. There is nothing like the visit of Tottenham, even when they are as dire as they have been this s
