  1. Well said. Potter is a fantastic coach and clearly a good motivator. He has established a fantastic footballing identity with Brighton and done stellar work with them. Coming here could be disastrous for him.
  2. The established players are all guilty. Look at the performance decline in the likes of Mendy, Mount, Jorginho, then the fringe players that look like they can't be arsed... this can't be a coincidence.
  3. "New manager bounce" incoming - a comfortable win and then it'll all be rosy in the Chelsea garden for another 12 months before the next manager is fired by the players sorry, I mean the board.
  4. Never play for this football club again. Attitude is arguably worse than Lukaku's.
  5. This club is a shambles. Toxic from top to bottom. Player power - again - plays its part. This time, we've fired one of the best managers in world football. It is absolutely brainless and shameful. We've just spent a quarter of a billion on players to fit this manager's philosophy and style. We've then given him 180 minutes since the close of the window to work with what's he has got - including spineless mercenaries, like Pulisic and Ziyech, who have basically just downed tools to get a manager fired, simply because they're not good enough to play for Chelsea. This is one of the most braindead and shambolic decisions the club has ever taken. The way Tuchel steered this club through the sanctions was phenomenal. He was the face of the club and I couldn't have been prouder to have him at the helm. The way he throws himself under the bus after every poor game to deflect blame away from the players who have let him - and us, the supporters - down, time and time again... I just can't believe we have made this decision. Well done, Todd: in fewer than 100 days, you've destroyed all the goodwill towards you from the vast majority of the support. But my most endearing thanks goes to the mercenary bastards who've stabbed the manager in the back. I don't think people realise, but I will spell it out: we've just set ourselves back by two years with regards to the rebuild. Tuchel had literally just fucked off the last of the Conte/Sarri era deadwood, and now another manager needs to come in and start from scratch. Brainless.
  6. Nothing sells newspapers like fear. Let's all go to the Winchester...
  7. Give credit where due: he was immense today.
  8. Possibly his best game for us in 15 months or so, since that good spell under Sarri.
  9. Spurs back to being our bitches, you love to see it. Let's not overanalyse today. We were fucking brilliant for the first 65 minutes. The red card VAR incident affected our concentration. Sloppy last 20/25 minutes. Barkley and Christensen absolutely fantastic today. Giroud has to start, I've been saying it for a little while now. The obvious difference between him and Tammy will reduce in time, but we're in a rut and sometimes you need to go back to experience.
  10. Great goal, almost scored a worldie free-kick, but let's not forget the fact he was pretty abject defensively. He just gets away with it more in a 5-2-3 because one of the three CBs can save his ass.
  11. Consummate professional, been shafted by Lampard. Should be our regular starter in my humble opinion. He brings the best out of everyone with his selfless hold-up play. HAS to start against Spurs.
  12. If we don't lose, it'll be a fucking miracle.
  13. I said it because I thought he was shit. That's my opinion. He also looked bang average against Championship opposition yesterday, but I'm not allowed to speak because he's young and he's English; I don't want to get tarred as a hater (please appreciate the irony of this statement, as, honey, I frankly don't care). I just don't view the world through rose-tinted spectacles like most on here do.
  14. Tammy is one player who doesn't deserve any shit from yesterday. We scored both goals because of him - let's not forget he won the corner for Cesar's goal.
