This has been a very entertaining game to watch, except for the commentators who give zero insight to tactics and just prattle on about complete nonsense.

Quite often its so much better with the sound muted

😀 Proper fans that rob their players houses when playing away. Proper fans that murdered 39 Italians....

coming into this game:

Since the 2017/18 campaign, Guardiola and Klopp’s men have claimed 438 and 412 points respectively from 182 matches – in City’s case that’s 100 more than any other Premier League team not named Liverpool.

Since the start of the 2018-19 Premier League season, City have accumulated 338 points in the league, while Liverpool have won 337.

It's good City and pool drew each their games 2-2 but we also drew both pool games and lost both city games, so overall we could have capitalised more.

It is interesting how pool vs city usually are high scoring games while vs us it is usually (with exceptions vs lpool) a cagey affair. Tactically, we probably have a better defence than both with TT but our offensive players are just so much worse than theirs.

There are 8 games left.... if we would win all of them which i consider possible though not probable we can still finish on 86 points. That would be a very strong 3rd place.

Sad to think we were once where they were...now they've gone miles above everyone in perform and talent..most the time anyway.

Hopefully we can get back to their level eventually

Because we had managers who preferred defensive work rate over technical ability. When in reality you can coach players in work rate but can't coach them in technical ability.

Klopp and Pep have shown Mourinho how you can evolve.

Definitely something to build on next season. Along with an FA Cup hopefully.

Hoping this draw keeps both City and Liverpool too stressed for the FA Cup.

And stability helps. Know firing manager for us has helped and its had to be done but each newbie had a different vision and style. They've both managed to build their teams and it shows

you have to take into account that Citeh are missing arguably the best CB on the planet atm, in Dias

I would take him over anyone if we are talking longer term, given the ages of VVD (turns 31 in early summer) and KK (18 days older than VVD)

Marquinhos has bizarrely hit a real shit patch

De Ligt would be my 2nd choice

Milan Skriniar 3rd

after those 6, the drop off is massive, unless you count a '''one game must win' where you could pick Thiago still

(not sold on Bastoni due to his lack of pace atm, as he is nowhere near Thiago in terms of nous and positional play yet in his career)

Fair play to Brighton. Beat Arsenal at the Emirates a few days ago, now beating Spurs away from home too. Not to mention we failed to beat them on both occasions.

Unbelievable job from Potter this season. For me he’s got to be coach of the year. Beat Arse and Spuds, held us to a draw both times we played them and they looked excellent both times, drew impressively with Liverpool. All while playing great football.

I think he’s destined for a top job soon.

They outplayed us for both games too. Especially the one at their ground. We got lucky to come away with a draw.
