Pizy 18,906
I have no idea why Conte didn’t wait until the end of the season to jump back in. Could probably have had the choice between several top jobs with amazing players. This Spuds side is SHIT and he’ll have a mighty struggle on his hands just to get them to an average level, never mind a top 4 team.
different level 1,056
In hindsight Conte leaving his Serie A winning Inter for this shit is looking worse by the day.

He is too good not to... Top3 everyone knows but Conte will make the difference over UTD and WH...

And then we got hammered by Duncan Ferguson the caretaker manager. Let us hope Tuchel’s Chelsea is different. It really depends on how clever the manager is. The 'new manager effect' is more due to the fact that we don't know what kind of tactics they're going to employ because of limited data, rather than the opposition doing anything brilliant., although yes, their players will look to prove themselves again. I'm hoping we play cautious in the initial minutes.. and figure out their game plan before launching any assault. Blue Armour 4,439
And thankfully., United play in the CL before that. So we'll have some data.

Ferguson is in interim control after Marco Silva was sacked following Wednesday's Merseyside derby thrashing at Liverpool that had left the Toffees in the relegation zone. And Everton banished their recent struggles to run out fully deserved winners on a thunderous occasion illuminated by the former striker's wild celebrations. The Scot raced down the touchline when Richarlison headed Everton in front from Djibril Sidibe's cross after only five minutes, then swung a ball boy around in the air when Dominic Calvert-Lewin took advantage of slipshod Chelsea defending to increase their lead four minutes after half-time. Chelsea frayed some nerves in the home crowd when Mateo Kovacic pulled one back from long range - but Ferguson was off down the touchline again when more awful defending from Frank Lampard's side allowed Calvert-Lewin to scramble his second through goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga's legs with six minutes left. Ferguson and his players took the acclaim at the final whistle as the mood lifted at Goodison Park. But for that one we were on a dodgy run anyway. So was no surprise to lose there. This time we aren't. We are capeable or should be of getting a result. Plus we hadnt beaten Ole Man U in the league anyway sooo might be a blessing lol Edited November 21, 2021 by Laylabelle
Magic Lamps 11,692
tottenham still looked like shit but they did get a result. Conte knows how to grind out wins and the 3-4-3 suits them too a T.... Not sure how far this will go beyond next summer due to the inevitable transfer spat with levy but for the moment i am quite content we already smashed them at their home. milka 3,394
Quote Mauricio Pochettino is the leading candidate to be Man Utd's next manager They want to repeat us from last year or what ? 😂 Why everybody want to emulate Chelsea Spids want to emulate Chelsea with Conte United want to emulate Chelsea with Tuchel like taking Pochettino 😄😉 Edited November 21, 2021 by milka
Pizy 18,906
The best case scenario for United seems to be what many of their fans are salivating about. That Poch leaves PSG and Zidane replaces him there. They get probably the best manager they can realistically get. But Poch would be mad to leave Messi, Neymar, and Mbappe mid season, surely? A manager who has never won a trophy until this season when he will.

Unfortunately he has won some meaningless french tinpot trophies in the meantime so the deadlock is broken but I really wonder why they prioritize him this highly. He has never done anything of note apart from two vain title challenges that ended in mid April and an incredibly lucky CL run. Would be way more anxious if Conte was still on he market.
