When the pressure is on, when the spotlight is on them (e.g. West Ham away), they cannot handle it. They have faltered so many this time when that pressure/spotlight is on them - Champions League group stage, Europa League R32, FA Cup semis - but of course, journalists and pundits conveniently ignore the failings because Spurs apparently play the best football in the league.
