nyikolajevics 2,700
ENGLISH premier League.Only reason a lot of people want it is because there are so many Fans in Asia etc now...I'm sorry In my opinion if you want to see Chelsea, you should pay good money like the rest of us, and visit the HOME of Chelsea! One match out of 50-60, not a big deal in my opinion. Most Asian/American fans want to visit the Bridge anyway... 11Drogba and iseah100
nyikolajevics 2,700
lol didn't Arsenal sign that fitness coach that even Ozil tweeted about in the summer? The one they were saying is Wenger's secret weapon and will solve all their injury problems, can't remember his name..Shad Forsythe

So you think they'll sell tickets for peanuts if they host of the games in the States or Asia? The EPL became a global thing at least a decade ago. One game abroad could only work positively for the development of the PL. Petty sure most here didn't complain when NBA decided to host games in London. Besides like nyikolajevics said, its no big deal, just 1 game a season and probably won't happen anyway. coolhead23 and 11Drogba

Seriously!!!! The last time I checked there are Chelsea fans combined across global are much much more than what are there in UK and like everyone mentioned it above ... One game is not going to make a difference to those staying in UK but it might make a huge difference to the ever growing fanbase in which ever country the match would be played in ... Just because your lucky to be in the same geography (something which I would surely envy, I m sure every Chelsea fan staying away would) where you can go and visit the "HOME" of Chelsea doesnt mean we dont want to be there ... Never push your luck .. Sidzeret

Fernando 6,585
FA could send England on tour if NFL franchise comes to Wembley ESPN FC http://es.pn/fcapp If NFL is doing it, then the EPL can do it. But like I said it's easier to start with a cup final game like charity shield, and carling cup final. Two cups that not many people give a damn about. RoyalBlues 4,050
I could remember sometimes ago I've read that it is something to do with Wenger method of training, that make a lot of Arsenal players often injured all this years. Unbelieveable until now, nobody at Arsenal realized about it.

xPetrCechx 13,571
Frank on… playing for Manchester CityI’d made the call to go to America, so I was moving from the Premier League. This has come as a surprise and an opportunity for me and I am thoroughly enjoying it. It always helps when you’re scoring goals and things are going alright on a personal note. I’ve turned up and I am training hard; I’m not one to sit and make up the numbers in the squad. I am at Manchester City now to try and play and contribute. I won’t play every game, but if I come on and make the difference in certain games I’ll be happy http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/12016/9510998/frank-lampard-talks-england-rooney-costa-city-and-more-on-sky-sports

Myself 793
How?Look below. And yet plenty of people still watch it and revenue is increasing like crazy. You don't understand what I'm trying to say, do you? I'm saying the game is ran by money now (it has been for over 10 years, but its been getting worse over time). No loyalty, no culture to the game anymore. If they start playing Premier League games outside of England then it will be painfully obvious that the game is dead. They would be catering to the masses of U.S, Asia because of all the money that's over there that they aren't getting right now. It would be absolutely horrible for the game if this happens. NishC300 1,865
What's been impressive is the convincing manner we've been winning in as well as the fact that we've been winning. City, Liverpool or Arsenal have way more points than they deserve.

And milking them is what the smart money does. ....you still don't get what I'm trying to say. English football cares more about the people who'd rather watch a match, on TV on their armchair and pay to watch matches at home(usually these fans are in North America or Asia and will probably never ever see their team play at their stadium) more than fans who pay for season tickets, the matchgoing fans. Reason being that there a lot more fans that fall in the former category (like, a lot) so there is more $$$$ over there. The sport is dead, its lost all romanticism, all culture, the game is run by money. And you've basically admitted that all these non matchgoing fans are tools to gain more money in your last sentence

Because of TV, endorsement and such things are what lead to this. And not in this sport but in a lot of sports. Look at how much the PL is getting from TV deals? More then you can ever get from stadium goers. So yes, TV audience are of outmost important in this modern world.
