Its the pressure as well that cant help.He's gone from being somwhere where a mid table finish was an achivement,may have not had rakes of money but enough to make a difference to the team.Now he's in one of the top teams..all eyes on him and its isnt paying off so far.

That's the point tho, Rodgers has already failed in a Championship version of a similar transition (Watford to Reading) and you would have thought Liverpool would have learned from the Roy nightmare.

Rodgers is another example of a mid table miracle man getting a top job and not knowing what the hell to do.

Anyone who wants Moyes at Chelsea next time we have a managerial vacancy, bare that in mind.

That's very harsh on Rodgers. He inherited an awful squad full of average british players and ageing legends at a club with huge excpectations that don't match their true quality. It's really difficult to work under those circumstances and takes time to introduce a certain philosophy. He could have done better so far, that's correct.

I like Rodgers but the job is too big for him like it was for Roy.

Agree that Liverpool are awful tho, can genuinely see them fighting relegation before long.

Just lucky the board are a bit patient.If he was here he'll probably be out the door!

Doesnt really help he was built up as they man to take them forward and achieve greatness.Yeah its early days and yonks to go but seemed to have got them playing in an okay style but sod all to show for it.

Theres playing like crap and winning..achivement..but playing like crap and having a helping hand..just blehhhh

And Newcastle just scored..1-0
