Funny how the commentators, think it was Alan Parry in particular keep on saying how brilliant Kagawa was... what did he do? He was more scared than anything, got the ball, passed it, looked comfortable but showed no desire to actually go the next step and do something. Nice on the ball tho but more suited to West Ham at home rather than Everton away. Have Kagawa in my fantasy team and Carrick, left em both on the bench, this isn't the game for good footballers.

Been a great few days tho, other than City digging themselves out if a hole, it's been near perfect.

Man Utd, Liverpool and Tottenham all lost. We've not lost an opening game since 1998 against Coventry. Well, we never used to win there, they beat us on consecutive opening days in 1997 and 1998. I still remember how unlucky Casiraghi was in that game, Hedman had the game of his life, fucker.

We have to now beat Reading and make it a great week.

TBF, imagine if this was our side. People get bent out of shape on friendly matches. I see the same from manure faithful as well. Over-reacting

Oh yeah i know, i was more posting it for the "raped by a tree" remark... :D Not for the over-reaction by some on there, i.e. one bloke said something like we won't even finish 3rd this season, not too disimilar to the we won't even get top 4 this season remark during the brighton game i think.

United fans are saying Everton are always shit against Liverpool but play like European Champions against them.

Well I quite agree with that, since they are also like that against us.

Kill themselves playing against us, but bent over for Liverpool.

I would say Everton are generally tough to beat against other teams but Liverpool. Even City always struggle against Everton.

Hey I thought we had no history ;) CFC are unbeaten on Opening weekend for 14 seasons & counting.

your welcome. Hopefully, other fans and teams stop underestimating us now.

We know first hand how tuff it is to get a result @ Goodison. When was the last time CFC won there? '07?

I thought Kagawa was the best player for Man united, could of had a few assists.

The thing i find funny about this forum is that if he was our player we all would be praising him, yet because he plays for united most of you are saying he played poor... typical.

You should see the amount of Hazard-Kagawa comparison on Twitter. Quite irritating really.
