Sitting watching Leeds Palace game. Patrick Bamford impresses every time I see him. Not a top 4 or 6 player but his general skill set suits Leeds down to the ground. Deceptively quick as well.

If Citeh sweep Spuds, Everton, Arsenal, West Ham, Manure, and Fulham (to get them to 28 games played), the title race is 99.9% done.

Assuming they win their game in hand, so all teams involved are on 23 games, their leads over the next 4 teams are NOW (after their winning the game in hand) 8 (Manure), 10 (Leicester), 13 (Bindippers), and 14 points (us). If they sweep those 6 games listed,  the gap between them and number two will be 11 points MINIMUM (likely 14 or more) with only 10 games to go. Zero chance they collapse and blow that. Hell give us a 14 point lead with 10 games to go and we would 95% likely win the tile, probably 98-99% chance we win, especially if we were given Citeh's schedule for the ten last games (and sub in say Villa or Arse for the Chels v Citeh game).

After those 6, the only games they have with top 7 teams are us, Leicester and maybe Villa, maybe Everton (if ANY of those are still in the top 7, which we should be).  That's it.

I agree. I think the only real curveball that can come their way, when facing those teams, are the midweek fixtures, notably Champions league. Thankfully for them, their first opponents are Borussia Monchengladbach.  Don't think their squad will be too badly stretched. Plus they'll have KDB (and possibly Aguero) returning within a couple of weeks.

I love seeing most all of my predictions come true about Liverpool's massive systemic weaknesses (lack of depth and the upcoming issues about breaking up that front 3, 2 of them, Mane and Firmino, already having a decline year over year, especially Frmino)

All 3 turn 30yo during next season (Firmino and Mane) or right after (Salah).

FSG will never spend the huge money to replace at similar level unless they dump them in summer 2021 (as their value plummets once they hit 30, so will get so much less in summer 2022)

I have no idea who they even can go after anyway

here are the 10 most valuable wingers on T-markt (Mbappe is listed at CF)

Sancho would be the only actually available option, and I do not see them dumping £100-120m or so on him

Obviously the likes of Mane, Salah, Firmino aren't over the hill just yet but will be interesting to see this summer if Klopp has that ruthlessness in him to potentially sell one of them and reinvest the money in his squad OR is he going to just stick with them because of what they've done for him in the last 2-3 years. Alex Ferguson was great at rebuilding squads because he knew when to ditch players and refresh the squad. Just like Guardiola at Man City, Klopp is now entering the territory of needing to do that. Can he do it or will he not be able to do it because of the emotional attachment/sentimental reasons? Am sure Klopp also knows that the Liverpool owners aren't just going to splash money freely like City. He needs to sell to buy big.
