He's leaving. There's no chance that we'll keep an unhappy player on board especially since he's at the wrong end of his contract. Once a big name signing is made, Rooney will be a goner.

So if he's on the bench against Swansea and gets a run out in the 2nd half, I'd assume he'd then be ready to start against us.

Has Rooney already peaked?

He didnt have the best season last year and it was really RVP that made the difference for Utd. I would rather we got Bale than Rooney.
