Toli 977
100% convinced this won't happen now. With each day that passes it's one less day United will have to spend the money and find a replacement. It would make no sense for them to sell him on deadline day even if we offered an absurd £50m as they wouldn't be able to spend it for months. You know his puppet master Slurgie is telling Moyes not to sell to us and you for sure had the likes of Gary Neville in his ear on international duty. They ain't gonna sell him to us.We may as well use the money we would've spent here on Rooney on our midfield and buy Witsel/Kondogbia and a top class CB. We'd be a massively improved side with those additions and can put our faith in Lukaku.and you said about me that i am a pessimistic poster hehe. thats what i have been speaking about the last weeks. When I joked yesterday, you had refused to participate, then.Have I got another clueless deal by Arsenal, see below.http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/arsenal-revealed-to-be-paying-southampton-10000-every-time-alex-oxladechamberlain-plays-20-minutes-or-more-8775909.html

bushman 2,043
What kind of clauses do they make these days. 10,000 for every time Chamberlain plays 20 mins or more.Well, I do not know if everyone is at home in arsenal, but what about Oz & his development if he plays less than 20 minutes a game ? Then, folks talk about English footballers. Now, what good is it for this young & talented player to stay with these cunts of Arsenal ?By the way, I just read Chelsea are preparing the final bid of 40m & 300 thou a week for Rooney. Heisenberg 1,824
We simply cant bid 40M€ and pay him this huge amount without selling Torres. It is economically suicidal.

bushman 2,043
I believe, if the story is true, Chelsea do have enough money to cover the deal without FFP knocking on their door.Just one little thing here. The transfer fee at 40m plus his wages. How about Falcao for almost the same deal ?
Heisenberg 1,824
NO IT REALLY ISN'T. We got enough space for one more top earner.Nando is payed £175,000 a week, 9 M€ a year, Hazard & Lampard are also big earners. Our transfer policy past two-three years changed dramatically, since the Luiz-Torres episode, with the FFP coming and the way we deal with players now it lets me think it is very very difficult for us to splash the 40 M€ for Rooney + his 250,000-a-week and say we are ready for the new rules. If we still can afford such wages then why dont we bid for other strikers ? If Torres stays Rooney wont come.

No names as the players belong to other clubs. Thanks God for that. I'm not one of the people who really wants Rooney here. I mean he's better than what we have, but I'd rather we'd get another high level striker... whoever that is. As long as it is a high level striker
