Yes, mate. Gianluca Di Marzio have said that Chelsea have offered 50 million (Euro) cash, and we have rejected the offer, because we want all the clause (63 million)

I would add 13m euro more to seal the deal as fast as possible before any other clubs interfere.

If Jose doesn't want Torres than we could offer him to other clubs.

Why should we pay the buyout clause.

Transfers are about negotiating.

If Cavani really wants to join Chelsea, then i'm sure Napoli and Chelsea can come to an agreement...

However, if he still dreams of a move to Real Madrid..then we should move on.

I have already answered your question in the first sentence of my post.

"to seal the deal as fast as possible before any other clubs interfere."

I'm afraid Cavani could change his mind, if the clubs like Madrid want him. Seems like we're on the lead now, let's finish this as soon as possible.

Any chance we offer Torres in the deal to lower the price?

no. Benitez may accept but de Laurentiis is not an idiot

Is Ramires absolutely needed in the squad though?

Yes, it all depends how much Benitez want Torres back and how much Torres actually want to reunite forces with the Spaniard!

Napoli wont be able to get a very top striker that pleases Benitez with less than £13-14mi (although some deluded people will lead you to believe Fernando is worth negative numbers). So, I can totally see Napoli accpeting 40mi + Torres!

I am not saying it will happens as it depends on a lot of things, but so does us letting Ramires go or us paying 50+ for a single player...

Dude, stop with this nonsense!

Laurentiis, isnt stupid, so he knows he wont be able to find a better striker than Torres (and who pleases Benitez) for less than 14mi. Torres + 40mi is a decent deal for all parts involved, nobody would be an idiot to accept such a deal. Napoli gets a striker and has 40mi to buy a very needed CB, a DM/CM and maybe even a GK for that price. How is that a bad deal?

I have told you this many times, Fernando Torres under FSW (and in another League) wont be so useless as he is here. And even being that useless, he scored more than many popular strikers (I know the goals/min change everything, but we all know how statistcs can be manipulated and most people only look at absolute numbers). Taking a hit of 14mi to accept Torres into Naples has nothing idiotic about it.

You will say it depends on many things and I agree, but so does all other possible deals. Rambo + money: Ramires needs to accept moving to Napoli (which I can assure you he wont be happy leaving right when Jose arrives), Mourinho needs to want it, we need to see how much money they will reduce of the final price, etc. Full price: Mourinho maybe has a budget he needs to adjust, Roman must decide whether he will pay that much (if Rambo isnt involved), etc.

As Rmpr has said...you also have to consider if Ramires wants a move to Napoli..

Cause IMO, moving from Chelsea to Napoli is a step-down for a player like Ramires

You know where I stand on this. Aggressive posts unnecessary. Laurentiis has rejected Torres+Cash offer. He wants straight cash or other players. Many sources allude to this.

Yes, we can increase cash and give Torres as well but there have been clear signals from Napoli that they are pursuing other strikers - Mario Gomez, Edin Dzeko, Mauro Icardi etc. So it's not just about Torres being able to handle Serie A which he should really but it's also about the strike-options that Napoli have other than Torres.

So,,Napoli want ramires right?? €37m + Ramires...

Come on make it simple,,just give them what they want...

Chelsea have had a £40m bid for Cavani rejected. Also offered one player in part-ex: not Torres or Ramires. Napoli want £53m, nothing less.

That bid was made in the last 24, maybe 36 hours. As of about 9pm, there had been no subsequent offer.

@AGT79 the player's Courtois. Trying to do a contact a favour, but Spanish radio rendered it pointless.

Oh please, I wasnt being agrressive. What you said is that what you said was nonsense imo, so I posted that. Sorry, if you felt offended by it. Do you suffer from leaves sindrome now?

You havent counter argumented nothing of my points though...

1. Many rumors allude to anything the writer wants it to, there is not one single reliable source stating anything!

2. Laurentiis can say whatever he wants for the media and fans, what matters is that behind close doors the talk is different. Every major business is like this, just watch Arbitrage for you to comprehend...

3. Napoli rejected 30mi EUROS + Torres, which any club in the world would reject!

3. Does any of Mario Gomez, Edin Dzeko, etc will cost less than 14mi? Will any of them go to Napoli?

4. Napoli will not end up with more money if they do businees seperately. Getting £54mi for Cavani and buying another striker will not make them have more than £40mi in the end. So tell me how can this deal be idiotic?

I will repeat this again, every deal has its variables and one involving Fernando Torres is just another one. There is nothing absurd in it! ;)

So Chelsea offered Courtois?

I really thought he was gonna be our goalkeeper for the next decade...

Yes, still, he is.

Maybe we offered Courtois on loan to Napoli.

Not bad, if you ask me. He could gain new experience in Italy. Rafa will be happy to have Courtois in his first season. We could get one of the best striker in the world. Everybody happy. :)

There are many sources linking strikers to Napoli. Torres is just one of them and definitely, Laurentiis will not have him top of the list.

Gomez has been heavily linked at around 15mil.

we've had this discussion already... You will say Torres to Napoli is feasible. I will come up with different ways it is not and then we will leave it.

Few days later, I quote a random post of yours on this thread and we rinse and repeat. You can say that Torres to Napoli is nothing absurd but no need to call it nonsense etc when I don't agree with your opinion. Torres is surely not better than Dzeko or Gomez and Laurentiis definitely knows that.

I will be happy if this deal does go through and it does make sense for all parties but only if Napoli are short of options. Big IF given that Dzeko, Gomez are all possible moves
