Look at Felix's goal, the coordination and the quality of the shot were pure class!

I keep watching it back he smashed that ball into the back of the net so nonchalantly.  Glad he returned.  Was working hard off the ball too

Is this the most Portuguese players we’ve had at one time, at least playing on the field at same time. Wanna savour this if so. Overnight turned the team quarter Portuguese, I love it

Looks like nothing serious.

Considering he missed the entire last season, I’d rather see him on the pitch than explanations of why he isn’t.

Still kinda flabbergasted with legendary shithousery from Madueke, wonder what got his gears grinding about Wolverhampton so much 😂

Heh I honestly did not learn anything new from Madueke today: he had great games last season too, scoring goals and all. He's a really good shot with power and usually on goal. The game just allowed him the spaces he needs, and he thrived. All he did was run and shoot, but he's definitely a handful considering his pace and power.
Towards the end of last season he faced tighter defenses in a low block and he struggled. He also stupidly fouled Wolves player just outside of the box, and we conceded from that.

This is the first time I’ve felt firmly happy after a match since BlueCo came in. Everything else had too many signals no matter the win of things out of place. If they don’t sell our stars, I’m happy with what we’ve set up finally so long as it can be maintained. Let’s hope Pep doesn’t redesign football and leave his prior methods meaning Maresca methods in the dust

Completely. With the slight add, that today, he definitely had the best mentality and work rate, all the bits together — which needs to stay, forever, to say he’s good enough. Maresca clearly has lit him up after Poch built him up a bit. Sustain it, that’s not easy. It will earn respect from everyone and end any questions if he just keeps this up. It is a Q though. He has shown a level like this before.

Great game, parts of it a joy to watch. The finishing really clinical for most parts. Let’s hope it stays that way. Most of our 7+ attackers played, scored or assisted today which is the only way to keep them all happy.
madueke turning up under pressure is a really good thing. We all knew what he is capable of but today he was under extra pressure with the socials post and all the new signings in his positions but  he delivered.

the other atttackers apart from mudryk showed their quality. Palmers goals obv quality but so was his perfectly timed and weighted passing. Netos run and first time cross was gorgeous making it really easy for Felix. It will be interesting cos today he was used as false 9 what his position will be. Definitely an interesting option and more useful than guiu

Midfield and CBs/goalie obv are a worry still. We could have easily conceded more. Fofana and Sanchez are nervy and shaky af.

caicedo Enzo must be one of the worst value for money double pivot partnerships in history. They were both terrible defensively, erratic on the ball. Caicedo with his customary turnover leading to goals, Enzo with his wayward passing and snail pace. Both are ultimately not good enough and only play bc of their ridiculous price tags.  We should try a combination of lavia veiga/kdh over them.

Enzo & Caicedo were very poor first half but I thought both bossed it second half. Especially Enzo.

Maresca probably screamed their ears off at halftime. They shaped up and looked much better.

After ~4 months - when we tradhed WHU 5-0 - I had once again a truly fun and entertaining afternoon with my team. After  a long week of work and issues, it was a perfect 2 hours to spend in front of TV. Hope you guys and supporters all around the world felt similar, this is what it is for, isn’t it?

Yes and I’d also add that it’s quite obvious that when you play with a CM pair, they are extremely! Dependent on their immediate teammates. Take a snapshot of any football match and you will see how many players roam in midfield at a time… a lot more than 2.

So, it’s not surprising they played better once Neto replaced Mudryk on the left, for example.

so, it’s just adjustments in a new system with much higher lines. Do not get too surprised if it does not work so well in a different match; it will take time.

Is there any way i can watch the game in full ? The highlights dont quite show how good we allegedly played in the second half.
