milka 3,393
Pochettino is a development manager, he is not a serial winner to expect a winning mentality from him And he is not the problem, the problem is the one who took him and who imposes this project without core Ted Lasso . Fernando 6,585
Some of you guys are surprised but this is what I expected. A lot of inconsistency this sea but we should improve by next.

calculatingInfinity 1,472
This is as terrible as I imagined with Poch as the manager of the team. Sad times. Incompetent American owners, old Spurs bottler, and a squad that somehow still doesn't have a proper forward... or keeper.
Magic Lamps 11,692
It doesn't matter if Poch or the whole squad or whever is sacked. As long as we have these owners, everything will be done on clown level. I can promise you, we will not ever get back into CL under this current ownership. lucio

DDA 9,941
Where I feel Potch fucked up massively, was from the start of the season when he selected the squad. For me, he sent the wrong players out on loan and has put faith in others who haven't repaid him. Ontop of of which we have backed a striker who just clearly isn't up to the standard we thought he would be. I mean, Casadei, Santos, Angelo all showed real promise in pre-season. They looked hungry and were coming into the season off the back of good U21 World Cup campaigns. There was a real buzz of excitement among the fans and the squad in general. Angelo was posting on his social media's how excited he was to bring trophies to this club. He showed flashes of real class on the right wing interchanging with Casedi and Wackson. Santos showed calmness and direct passing going forward with Casadei looking like a proper box to box midfielder. Then all of a sudden all 3 were being told to gain experience elsewhere. Potch is the expert not me.. but fuck me, surely they couldn't have been this bad. Blue Armour
OneMoSalah 8,886
Yeah not feeling that Poch is going to get us anywhere. Saying our reality is mid table after a £1 billion pound spend makes either him look bad or the recruitment look bad. Something has to give, preferably the recruitment guys IMO but I think theres more chance Poch will go before they do.
Special Juan 28,140
This board are that fucking stupid they will probably fire Poch and hire Rooney
NikkiCFC 8,335
I would give him 2 full seasons before any judgement. Spurs finished 6th in season before his arrival. First season with him 5th place and Cup final. Second season 3rd place and in third season 2nd place with 86 points. Top4 in 2 more seasons with CL final. But again I think Potter deserved 2 full seasons as well. Look at Dyche and Howe doing amazing. Fernando

So did Poch at Spurs. Potter was going in full reverse and smiling all the way.
Fernando 6,585
I'm with @NikkiCFCwe need to give another season to Poch. The team is inconsistent and need another season. With Potter we never saw the games we saw against City, Arsenal and what not. So there's room to work. Give him time because no one will do better at this time and the board buying young players all the time....
TheHulk 2,482
Can't believe some want this guy around for at least 2 years, the guy is basically asking for another midfielder when Lavia hasn't even played yet to judge his level. Because by the time Lavia gets to play a game of football, and we find out he's yet another nobody (I meant "project"), Posh will be gone (as you want), so exactly how waiting for this fabled player with nothing yet done in the game helps a manager under pressure? He had Enzo, Caicedo, Lavia, Santos, Carney, Casadei, Conor, Ugo in pre season. Are you telling me he couldn't make a functional midfield from this and needs another one? I get a couple got injured but other managers make due with nobodies in midfield. Reminds me when every single fan said the squad is pure dross before Tuchel came in and immediately improved many of the players, I get this squad is abysmal but he hasn't improved anyone, if anything most regressed even more under him. Such unanimous opinion does not and never exited. I certainly did not think the players were bad. That roster was A LOT stronger than this. The problem with fans is exactly this, "He had Enzo, Caicedo, Lavia, Santos, Carney, Casadei, Conor, Ugo in pre season." (Lavia and Santos - big question marks) Do you realize you cited one world class player? All the top teams in the PL have world class players, some more than one. That's the issue here: the PL is the best league in the world right now, which means the level is super high. Our players can improve and become better; some may yet become world class players yet, like Caicedo and Palmer, for ex. Right now they aren't tho. Right now they are no better than what the opposition has. Actually, right now they are just younger and more inexperienced than what the opposition has, so we are at a constant disadvantage. We have players in our roster, some of which often start matches, who would be interchangeable with their counterpart at Brighton (some of which came from there). Hey options are opinions, but IMO aside from the small, and short-lived bump in performance (from the managerial change high), the next manager will not succeed with the roster. My reply to you was about Lavia and yet another nobody 19yo who will make an immediate impact... he will likely not. Blue Armour
