So... De Zerbi and his staff are now available for free, without having to deal with Brighton

The fact that he's available...and we have Brighton boys within the Chelsea management team....I wouldn't be surprised if they reached out.

Not expecting Poch to get the sack as he has won a few games to finish the season on a more positive note (as 9th/10th would have been definite sacking).

Only a decision to be made if Poch walks imo. One summer without a managerial change please.

Restarting the process means another few months of a manager figuring out what works, what doesn't

Juve bound maybe, or replaces Motta at Bologna.

De Zerbi - Bayern

Motta - Juventus

Sarri - Bologna

De Zerbi, I'm torn, anyone who listened to Boateng on the 5 podcast recently will know that he seems the type of manager that our young squad needs to grow. I just can't get away from the multiple clubs complaining about Poch's training, non-tactical approach etc.

Kyle Walker again on the same podcast said he didn't realise what training really was until he left Spurs and went to City.

Bayern already denied it and they said it won't be an Italian manager.

Feel like Bayern should just get Mourinho for a season, might be the only way to help Kane break his trophy curse.

Keep Pochettino if you plan to continue with experiments like Kieran McKenna . If you're going to hire an elite serial winner as a coach, hire him.

My biggest issues with Poch:

1. It took him awfully lot of time to clear the midfield mess trying to fit Enzo, Caicedo and Gallagher in when it was clear it was not working. And I am not sure whether it would be fixed if Enzo wouldn't end his season early.

2. We are still bad defensively, and now Silva is gone, Chalo future is uncertain - so our 2 best CBs may be gone. I have 0 faith Poch will fix our defending issues.

3. The way he treated Maatsen - I am not convinced he is good enough for a top PL team, but thing is we will never know because Poch never gave him chance as LB even with Chilwell and Cucu injured.

4. As many people pointed out - our good run in the end was mostly against the team that were not fighting for anything. Even so there were part of the matches when we looked terrible, even Notthingham and Bournemouth were able to dominate us for large portion of game.

In terms of potential you are right, but this season he hasn't impressed at all (yeah I know he played half a season out of position and after getting run at CB he got injured).

Kieran McKenna???

Wtf

Clownlake are mad as ass

Sigh

Was thinking the same… honestly had to google if they they meant Kieran or Kevin McKenna lol

Poch is not perfect but replacing him with someone who has 0 top flight experience would be an even  dafter move than downgrading from Tuchel to Potter.

(However, my nightmare would actually be Todd bringing in Jürgen Klinsmann. Would be completely random but Americans just love him ^^)

I don’t really like Poch tbh, too spursy for me. But the players do, apparently. We are not winning anything big next year anyway so hiring someone for short term success at the cost of player development would probably backfire.

Which serial winners are available? Not with a historic record, a recent one.

A few, actually. Flick, Tuchel, kovac and Allegri have all somewhat recently shown they can do it. Would draw the line at Conte. Not even starting with Löw, Santos, Favre or even Jose. It is probably less about serial winners but also about personal fit. This would make flick more likely cos he is soft spoken and empathetic like Poch, good with young players not as intense as the other 3
