Matt Law covers Spurs too and is reported to have a good relationship with Poch so it's very likely that he's still a contender for the job based on this.

We need to get this appointment right and I'm glad the club is taking its time to do so, but we also have to be careful that Spurs are looking for a new manager and come the summer PSG almost certainly will be, and Madrid might well be too. We have a foot up on these currently and we're a more attractive prospect than Spurs, so it's important that we're making moves decisively.

The last thing we want is to string things out for too long as we're undecided and suddenly Spurs have snapped up Luis Enrique, PSG have taken Nagelsmann and Madrid have taken Poch. Then where do we go from there.

We've got first chance here to identify our first choice and get them before others come sniffing, so it's important we get this done.

I have a feeling that Nagelsmann will be deemed too young by Boehly to manage  the dressing room and we will get  Mauricio Pochettino .

Agree with this, his age really counts against him, I do not care what anyone says, it drops into every negative conversation “oh he’s young(er)”, not that it should come into the conversation but we need to decide as a club, as Thiago and Didier said. I do feel sorry for Potter, complete shit show to be dropped into, is some of it his fault? Sure, everyone takes blame, but I cannot imagine the daily pressures mentally on his head.

not in favour of Enrique, I’d be happy with Emery or Poch, Poch is labelled Spursy in nature but at the end of the day his team were impressive, bottle or not, we did our fair share of bottle jobs under Tuchel let’s not forget.

1. Appoint an experienced manager

2. Out of ANY signings this window, we need experience and attitude, not just slap dash youngsters without any guidance, this is where I loathed losing Rudi

We aren't seriously considering Pochettino are we???

The fucks he won??

In his defence, one must argue if the Spurs culture is the main reason why he didn't win anything with them.

When serial winners in Mourinho and Conte failed at Spurs.

I had the same thinking too.

But after seeing what happened with Mourinho and Conte at Spurs, I think he what he did there was even more impressive.

You can question his PSG stint, but you can see what happened with Tuchel there, too.

Not my first choice, but I don't think Poch is as bad as one might think.

The main problem with Poch is the Spurs connection.

We know how Benitez was treated. At least Poch didn't make any negative comments about Chelsea, so he's better off that way.

Irrespective of manager, they need experienced heads within the team with an appetite to bite back everyday, said it in so many posts but Rudi epitomised that, he wouldn’t have looked out of place under our Carlo team, I’d wager we’d have a few more red cards.
