Madueke needs to play every match from here out. Hes shown something.

he was always solid, and yet barely plays. blows my mind some of the decisions about the gametime.

same with chuku, fofana and other players.

Lampard truly tarnishing his legacy as a player coming back here as a manager AGAIN after the first time imo.

There was like a 15/20 min period where Mudryk - who I’ve felt has been shocking since coming here so glad to see him prove me wrong - as well as Auba looked lively and along with Sterling looking more of sorts on the right side… maybe a decent front 3 to use no?

Begs the question - why didn’t he start a CF? Why didn’t he start 2 wingers? Why has Auba not played more often? If he was sharper from more game time, he likely would of scored the chance from Kovacic’s pass - you can see he is rusty but the runs right and the intentions good.

Most of the other players were shocking but we wasted 45 minutes in the first half - by not having any real recognised attacking players bar Sterling who was shoehorned into a CF role. So that’s on the manager.

maybe the real problem is the players who are simply ass

I disagree. To me, the problem is clearly the coaching. Sure, some players are not good enough, but not to the point that the whole team is suddenly relegation material and by far the worst team in EPL.

The owners fucked up majorly with manager appointments. It's no coincidence that this total capitulation happens right after owner change. It's on them.

This mess is on them. If they actually want to do something worthwhile, sack the non-league interim.

Players were shit under Tuchel and Potter as well. Players were shit the whole season, from the start. Never forget that Zagreb game, that was as shitty as this one.

We weren't that bad though under Tuchel in particular, there was a lot more individual or unforced errors that cost us. Now its just a full blown shambles, confidence is gone, nothing goes for them, tactics are a mess, team selections a mess. Everything.

Under Tuchel you saw little glimpses of improvement..since then it's leaps backwards. We have no spark. No system. No identity.

Ofc not THAT bad, bc it was the start of the season and there were things to play for so they had somewhat of a desire to perform. But still then they were shit. And now, since these guys have no thrive at all and there is nothing to play for, they just perform like in a training game.

As I said before, there is no point in coming with some fancy new tactics at this stage of the season, these players wont do it anyway. They just want the season to be over.

Lose against Forest and we are in big fucking trouble. Big trouble.

We could actually go down and then we will be the biggest laughing stock in football... the biggest flop of all time... It would outdo all of The Yiddos years of serial flopping.

This is about to get seriously nasty between the fans and owners.

Boehly and co need reminding that this is not like the NBA where you get a lottery pick if you finish at the bottom.

Fortunately we won’t go down even if we lose all our games, if we win one more game it will be away to Arsenal

even on 39 at the end, it is very hard for us to be relegated

40 is the magic number to do it if we end on 39 (as all the other teams GD is so shit, even if we end up at sat negavute 10-15

the following is all based on is at 39 points at seasons end

Forest can get to 40 if they beat us, it would not take and true upsets after that at all (unless you count a draw at Brentford) I assume they lose to Arse, if they beat arse and us, they COULD well go above us on 40 or more

Bournemouth, as long as the beat us, has an excellent chance to hit 40

then the 4 teams that likely save us from relegation

Leeds is likely fucked, almost no chance at 40. we so need them to beat Bournemouth as their other 4 games are brutal AF: Citeh, NUFC, West Ham, and Spuds) so that is one team for sure (almost) under us

Leicester will have to upset either NUFC or Pool (and win the other 3, including Everton, see below) to get to 40 or more, if they beat both Pool and NUFC and then lose to Everton and win the rst, we are in real trouble potential (and see below)

Southampton is very likely fucked, they would have to win 5 and draw the 6th to hit 40 and they play NUFC, Fulham, Pool, and Brighton

Everton have to win 4 of 6 to get to 40, and they have to play NUFC, Brighton, and Citeh, so even if they beat Leicester, they are likely fucked

I would say, atm, that (IF we fail to take another point from any of the relegation level teams)

for sure SOTON are going down

likely Leeds

and I will say Leicester (especially if Everton beat them)

What is so completely hard to understand is the  non existent planning for the future when we are in this situation.

Why dont we play the players for the future?
Where is Badashile?
Why do you sub Mudryk on when we are 1 behind and Brentford will back down in to a low block defence? Why dont we play him from the beginning? He isnt more shit than Sterling or Gallagher or whofuckever we play.
Why dont we play Madueke?

Instead we sub them on when we are losing and the rest of the teams heads are on their way home already. Its so frustrating and useless planning for the future.

Do we really think:

                Auba

Mudryk Sterling Madueke

         Enzo   Kante

Would perform worser then what we saw in the first half today?

And yes, Mudryk/Madueke maybe wont ever make it in Chelsea but ATLEAST they would try their best and show some spirit. But maybe maybe they could pick up some form and getting used to the league and carry that on in to the next season with a competent manager to help them unleash their potential.
