It wasn't his body - it was his mental strength. Exactly the same problem Sterling has. If Pep couldn't sort it - it's broken forever - IMHO

A bit premature. Torres mental strength broke along with his ligament. He never was the same player even after fully recovering physically. Sterling has always been this wasteful, technical unclean, frustrating presence with a ton of pace occasional flashes of brilliance his entire career. We will not be able to rely on him to win us any titles, neither did pep btw, but he will still be useful.

It's unbelievable. Compared to leeds, villa were clinical today... insane the luck arsenal have. fkin hate leeds those useless duds. should never have made it back to the PL that poor excuse of a club

Hopefully the overall performance there was a blip and a result of too much chopping and changing in the wrong areas. Because Brentford up next is another team that will do a lot of the same things Villa did today but can actually score goals.

We were a bit better in the second half but for about 75% of that game we were shocking.

Arsenal played half their first team Thursday night in a Europa group they have total control of.

The lack of depth will catch them out in a season like this.

no. i want teams like milwall, qpr, leeds and other historic rivals as many divisions below us as possible. They always up their game against us, play with unnecessary guile, cause us to get more injuries and cards which can hurt us over the course of the season.

I am the opposite, I love the big old historic clubs up

what a terrible decision by the ref. No way is that a pen cos it is clearly off the ball and violent conduct not a tactical foul but it definitely is a red card for Gabriel.

But leeds would have missed that pen anyway cos they are useless and having gabriel on the pitch actually weakens arsenal so glad he is available.

Mount is getting back to his best. Our best player in our past 3 games now. Brilliant free kick. We rode our luck sometimes. But fairplay. Kepa was brilliant too. He does scare me on corners though wow 😄

Also special mention to RLC. Thought he was brilliant. He bossed that game. Rarely lost the ball and was an engine all game. His physical presence was really useful.

A big, big win. Another clean sheet too. 4 in a row!
