Every step with what they have done with the team has been completely in line with what they did with the Dodgers, they have not deviated not once. I think they really believe in Potter long term and will not be swayed by short term set backs. They are looking at the return at the end of ten years and that return depends on a strong team winning with several feeder clubs. If their vision is the same as what they did with the Dodgers, it is to have a world class team with world class facilities that attracts both top players and top investors. They are about profit, but they look for big profit from have a major brand that sells everything.

It will depend in ten years on how much the income stream is versus how much they can sell for. Over that same ten year period for the Dodgers they paid $2B and the team is valued at $4B and they are happy with the revenue streams and have no intention to sell. You just never know when you are owned for profit. The great thing is over the next ten years Chelsea will benefit from them trying to make us the biggest brand they can.

And fun thing is fans of opposite teams are all in for Potter just as we were all in for Ole, because that meant utd will not be a threat for us, so that's telling.

I'm going to say it again. Potter was hired because he is a yes man. He was hired because tuchel didn't agree with the board whereas potter will agree with anything like a loyal dog. He will keep giving his 'positive' boys gave everything interviews. He is not turning anything around and in 3 years, we will be wallowing in mediocrity because noone will want to touch us after 2 years out of CL.
