robsblubot 3,595
You joke, but I've always thought Alonso's skill on the ball was underrated here. Slight improvement... there is hope yet for Cucurella. Chilwell is still twice the player, so we need him back asap. bigbluewillie
Hamilton 2,120
One of the things that frustrates me about him is the 60-90 sec he costs us everytime he takes a throw in.. Just throw the bloody ball  ! 😵   Johnnyeye and bigbluewillie 1

TheHulk 2,463
A shit player, who in form becomes average. What a crap purchase this was, think if I started searching on transfermarkt would've find something cheaper and better. The American's whole plan with this was, City wants him gonna pay over the moon for him. Johnnyeye 7,510
what does this tosser offer exactly? 60 million ? you are having a laugh. Alonso despite all his flaws is a much better player than this fraud. Vesper
Johnnyeye 7,510
Alonso cost 23 million pounds and now compare that with 60 million paid for Cucu, who doesn’t even come close to Alonso’s quality, heads need to roll at the club for allowing too many shit transfers to go trough. Funny I saw this turd at Getafe and he wasn't anything special, when I saw Chelsea was linked to him for 15M I was really hoping we don't move for this mug, of course one year later not only do we buy him but also waste colossal money on him. Magic Lamps 11,692
As shit as Cucu is, I am still glad we got rid of Alonso. He is just as suspect for Barca as he was for us and is 32 now.

I can't believe that Chelsea fans speak about Chelsea players in the way you have. I don't have the ability, or the right, to control what others do but I wish everyone would choose to exercise some self control. Not being as good a footballer as your club's supporters would like is not a crime. Nor is it a player's fault. He didn't sign himself for the club, nor did he select himself to play. If we have to direct our fire, let's direct it at the right people, and do so in the right way. But we let him go for free and made Cucurella the world’s most expensive fullback, while he is meiocre on his best days, but having nothing but bad days since he joined.  If he is on form, he is ok. So were Alonso or Emerson. But if you blow up your bank account for a left back, you expect some Alphonso Davies / Cancelo kind of shit, not Yuri Zhirkov shit.  Seeing him and Hall recent games.. Made me think about Ashley Cole.. God, everyone hated to play against him, he stuck on wingers like a leech. Johnnyeye

I agree, I'm sorry I called him out names since it's not his fault he isn't that good of a footballer, no excuses but in my defense I was angry because of the match against Fullham. Hot Dawg 17
Systematic of how the club is being run when you pay £60 million for someone who plays and looks like an extra from Cheech and Chong. Johnnyeye and bigbluewillie
Pizy 18,927
I personally think everyone needs to settle down with calling him shit or saying he’s a massive bust. Unlike with Koulibaly, I think Cucu will go on to be a very good long term signing for us. When we have a functioning team he will improve a lot. bigbluewillie, Fernando and Stats

NikkiCFC 8,326
But if Hall is ahead of him and with Chilwell back that makes him 3rd choice. For 60m? Last summer transfer window is likely going to be the worst ever. KK Cucurella Auba 3 total busts. I personally never liked Sterling and seems bad so far plus with latest additions cannot see him starting. Fofana has been injured but I have huge hope for him. With Badiashile and Colwill this is 3 CBs for a next decade.
manpe 10,861
Crazy to think that we could have just promoted Hall and kept the 60 million for more pressing needs. Fernando
Fernando 6,585
I blame it on tuchel. I always said tuchel was not good for signing.
Vegetable 830
There's also probability that Tuchel had some idea what to do with him - he was known for making obscure/shitty players vital in his system. Now apparently everyone just expects players to play on their own, no questions asked
