So…

Raphinha

Dembele

De Ligt

Richarlison (thank god)

Gabriel Jesus

Big target after big target we’ve been credibly linked with is being taken off the table. What’s next, Sterling signing a new contract at City?

Did we bid on Jesus? I don’t remember that? Thank God Richarlison was not serious. Raphinha and de Ligt are still possibilities. Chelsea is a legit big destination. Teams and  players will try to use us to try to drive up the price of another team they really want to sign with. It goes with the territory.

That said…. Sign someone damn it!

So the latest news was that we wanted to pay less than Juve wanted and now suddenly there's news Bayern desperately want him...I always find these things intriguing. How does this news break across so many outlets so quickly. These Italian clubs are known to work dodgy, could it be something sinister like they're leaking this news to demand a higher premium from us? Who knows....let's see how it pans out. Not writing it off yet though.

I was honestly just thinking the same thing. It seems very suspect to me. These Italian clubs are taking for mugs.

Imagine the meltdown on here if we signed Lenglet. The new ownership would be ripped apart for a lack of ambition.

The funny thing is this move will be used by Chelsea fans as a stick to beat the club with because Spurs are 'making moves'.

I'd rather make no moves to be honest, we'd be better off giving returning loanees a chance.

#BayernMunich would be ready to offer up to 60mln€ for #deLigt. If #Juventus wouldn't consider this offer satisfactory, the Bavarians could include #Pavard in the deal.

Reminds me of when Bergwijn, Cedric and Ighalo were going to put their clubs over the hill and far away (from us).

2 of those 3 clubs in question haven't finished above us since.

Pedulla:
In the afternoon there was a contact between Juve and Chelsea to talk about Matthijs de Ligt . The Blues have announced another offer that could go beyond the base 70 million plus bonus. De Ligt is a priority of Tuchel , the Dutch pushes to go, he works to reach a base of at least 75 million plus many bonuses (some easily reachable). During the day there was the poll, which we had announced , of Bayernbut for the moment Chelsea is ahead (even as the Dutchman likes it). Bild has reiterated Bayern's interest, but we are not aware of a choice made in favor of one club over another. Also because it will be the offer to Juventus on the card that will make the difference, even more so if we consider that the clause is 120 million. Those who get close will have a better chance of crossing the finish line.
