Unless De Ligt is the utmost priority, rather we go with Koulibaly + Kounde who will cost the same amount as De Ligt alone.

I keep seeing this claim, but

Kounde (£60m or so) and KK (around £25-30m) will cost £85-90m or so

de Ligt, based off of  the 80-90m euros prices I keep seeing as the figure Juve will take at the end of the day

is £67.5 to £76m

Think it will be closer to £80-90m to land De Ligt.

I do not know how much you follow the FOREX markets, but the euro is cratering even more than the pound versus the USD

so these prices in euros keep getting lower on a comparative basis for us, and the difference it huge when you start talking 200m quid in total spend

Chelsea are weighing up several defensive targets this summer, so which one is best statistically? Matthijs de Ligt leads the way in the air and Kalidou Koulibaly makes most interventions... but Milan Skriniar is great with the ball at his feet

  • Chelsea are in need of defensive recruits after losing two key men this summer
  • Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen have both departed on free transfers
  • Thomas Tuchel needs to replace them before the new season gets underway
  • Matthijs de Ligt, Kalidou Koulibaly and Jules Kounde are all thought to be targets
  • Milan Skriniar and former Chelsea defender Nathan Ake are also on their radar
  • Sportsmail has taken a look at the Blues' top five defensive targets statistically

The Dutchman is a force in the air, winning four aerial duels per match for Juve last seasonThe Senegal international outperforms the other targets when it comes to interventionsMilan Skriniar has also been attracting attention from the west London club in recent weeksSevilla defender Jules Kounde has been a long-term target for Tuchel in his time at ChelseaManchester City insist they have no intention of selling the £50m-rated star anytime soon

Ronaldo officially not traveling with United’s squad on tour.

Bayern have pretty explicitly said no thanks, Milan have 2 oldies up top already in Zlatan and Giroud, Napoli is not a big enough club for a player of his stature, he left Juve in bad terms.

Tuchel wouldn’t………..would he? 😬
