HAZARD BACK TO Chelsea?

Chelsea have left the door open for Eden Hazard making a sensational return to Stamford Bridge, according to El Nacional.

The Belgium international has failed to reach the same heights at Real Madrid since moving to the club in 2019 and it’s claimed a move back to London could be facilitating by all parties.

Hazard back would be strange.

We don’t usually sign players who have had bad spells at other clubs, we usually don't sign players who are of or over the age of 30 either.

I dont think we can afford to simply resign someone who maybe might do it again or maybe wont because of sentiment. We already have enough players who in attack and streaky or not doing it regularly enough so to make another attacking signing who plays on the wing/attacking midfield position and its the same story, it would be frustrating.

Remember Drogba came back to Chelsea at the age of 36yrs from Galatasaray.

Though Jose admitted it was at least as much for his impact in the dressing room as anything else.

If Eden had never played for Chelsea then, seeing how things have gone for him in Madrid, we'd probably all be arguing against trying to bring him here. As it is however the sentimental attachment is strong with this one.

By looking at some old videos and his spell with RM I'm starting to think that Hazard has mentality of Ronaldinho - he had a great talent when playing here, but talent only gets you so far. If he can't get himself together in his dream club (and I mean working, not nessecarly giving results) there is no reason he couldn't pull some kind of prime Willian shithousery when back here and that's the last thing we need now

How about Luis Diaz of Porto if we can bin Ziyech next summer?

probably is better than Ziyech, but I am a wee bit leery of Liga NOS numbers

he was poor versus Atletico and Pool in the CL so far this season

This explains everything. We offered only 50m because we were aware of their situation and thought they would accept it.

Sevilla chose ‘ambition’ and debt over Chelsea’s €50m for Jules Koundé

  • Erling Haaland's agent Mino Raiola is expected to hold talks with Manchester City in January over a potential move to the Premier League club next summer.
