Although I'm not a fan, to call him Barkley level is stupid.

When Barkley was young he was the most hyped AM in England. And overrated. Not saying they are on the same level now but the hype was the same

Also James Madison was the worst 19th century US president. wtf were his parents thinking. Imagine naming your son George bush or Donald trump in 200 years lol

To be fair I doubt there are many British families that could care less about American history.

I personally wouldn't be checking things like that when going to name one of my children.

What's the difference from Kounde and his own surgery?

Think Koundé just had a minor procedure that he had even been able to play through for a while. Fofana’s injury was catastrophic and kept him out for months and months.

But as I said earlier, he looks to have come back as good as he ever was. Was awesome against us post injury.

A pipe dream that's never going to happen. The only club I can see him joining now, with City covered in that position, is Utd. They'll happily pay stupid money next season.

Kane turns 30yo in exactly 1 year He was born on July 28, 1993, but you are legally the new age on the day before your birthday as you have completed the full 365 day (366 if a leap year) year (it is July 27th, 2022 now as I type)

so next season is his last chance for a huge deal, as he will demand 5 years and post age 34 (and maybe 34yo as well) I expect him to be fairly spent, I do not see him as a Zlatan/Benz/Lewa/CR7 type who will still be WC at 34, 35, 36

if he waits till he can leave on a free (2024) he would be 34 and 35 in the last 2 years of a 5 year deal

I do admit, I might be wrong and Kane stays top class into his 35th year, stranger things have happened, and a slower, less brutal non-EPL league may well suit him and strikers (ex Zlatan, CR7, granted those two are a few in a century genetic freaks, like Maldini and maybe very soon Thiago) and GKers (ex Buffon, Dino Zoff) and registas (ex Modric, Pirlo) are the 3 positions who generally age the best

Wouldn't I just love this fuck manure and brokeelona in one fell swoop🙌

Dutch midfielder Frenkie de Jong would only leave Barcelona for Chelsea but the London club are not prepared to pay as much as Manchester United for the 25-year-old. (Sport - in Spanish)

Maddison v Madison

and

Madison is considered one of the top 10 or so  US presidents, and was the chief architect of the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights

as Sec of State, under President Thomas Jefferson he was the force, in 1803, behind the Louisiana Purchase

Map of Louisiana Purchase under Jefferson as supported by Madison.

he won the War of 1812 and ushered in The Era of Good Feelings in 1815, which James Monroe then took to its peak

James Buchanan (right before Lincoln), a true piece of shit whose bungling was a major factor leading to the the Civil War

Andrew Johnson (Lincolns' VP when Lincoln was assassinated) was utter shit (sold out the blacks and ended Reconstruction), and until Clinton and Trump, was the only POTUS ever impeached

(to name just two in the 19th century, there were many far worse then as well) were both a million times worse

add in Trump and Warren Harding

and you have by FAR the worst 4 POTUS's in American history

No he didn't. 🙂

At best it could be said that the US played out a draw but even that is not really true. Britain achieved its aim of holding on to its remaining North American colonies and had enforced a naval blockade which was strangling the US. The fact that the US did not suffer punitive terms in the Treaty of Ghent was more to do with the fact that the British people hated the war. They saw it as a waste of money at a time when the nation's real enemy was Napoleon. Even after he abdicated there was no British enthusiasm for the war of 1812. Of course he would soon be back from Elba anyway to grab all of Britain's attention once more.

The fact that the US won the last big battle of the war gave rise to the idea that they had achieved overall victory but this is not so. In fact the battle of New Orleans was fought after the peace treaty had been arranged. In the board rooms of Ghent the US negotiated terms that looked like a draw, but on the pitch they were beaten.

Are you seriously comparing an 8 month leg break and a minor surgery to help with a slight discomfort where the operation was knowingly scheduled for when the season was over so the player wouldn't miss any games?

It's like talking to a child.
