I'd be pleased if this happens, not least because he also looks capable of performing at LWB. Can't see it but would definitely be pleased with this one.

Yeah contract until 26 sadly, Leipzig can demand an astronomical fee

The Sevilla outlets are all saying the preparations are already in place for Kounde to do his medical and go on to the US. Seville does not want to sell to Barca.

In England they announce the medical examination of Koundé and his arrival in the US in "less than 48 hours"

They are just quoting The Sun lol

I think one of the many tasks facing the new board is to train the market to understand that there is more discipline at Chelsea now about the way money is spent. That necessarily has to start with there actually being more discipline in our spending. If that means walking away from deals because the ask is too high then I'm all for it even if, as is the case with Gavridol, the player concerned is one I would love to see join Chelsea.

Cost of the deal is not the cause my doubts this deal will happen however. Gavridol's stock is high currently and I expect that, for now at least, Chelsea isn't on his list of preferred destinations.

These Barca news outlets are taking the United fans on a ride, going round in circles lol

Also you would think that Barca would use the money from levers to payback some on the money they owe to their players.. but no.. spend spend spend.. and not smart spending too..

Not really. The fee drops to 43m next summer due to the release clause kicking in. So any bid over that will at least be considered by Leipzig

The same was reported for Nkunku though, which turned out to be false. Not really trusting those reports yet

"Update Kounde: The lawyers of both clubs start to exchange documentation. If everything is correct, it could be announced in the next few hours. 65 million euros will be paid to Sevilla for the French star."

By both clubs, they mean Sevilla and Chelsea or Sevilla and Barca?

These Kounde, Raphinha, Azpi, Alonso etc. situations really make me hate Barcelona and the way they choose to conduct their business. And that's even with me being quite happy to let Azpi and Alonso go and not being that bothered about the other two players. I'd happily have taken Raphinha if he wanted to come and same for Kounde but the minute Barcelona get involved these turn into boring never-ending sagas.

All this 'you should reject all offers till we break some more piggy banks and can finally afford you' stuff really messes up all plans for the other clubs involved and just reeks of Barcelona's rotten, entitled attitude. If they can't afford these players, just fuck off and move on.

Instead of negotiating with the selling clubs directly, they choose to focus on turning the player's head even though it's entirely unclear whether they actually have the finances to pull the transfer off or not. It just causes unnecessary delays for everyone in a crucial time preparing for the new season.

Fuck Barcelona and everything they stand for.

Info from twitter summarized:

reliable journos like Romano: open battle, Kounde would go to both clubs
sources from England and Seville: Chelsea agreed fee with Sevilla and Kounde will be Chelsea player in the next 48 h
sources from Catalonia: Kounde gives priority to Barca and has agreed terms

Doesn't sound like Raphinia story exactly, but Kounde certainly prefers us over Chelsea.
But he is not gonna wait for ever.

My hopes on Allemany to pull the trigger TODAY
