Chelsea looking for a significant sum if they are to sell Ross Barkley, a minimum of £30m - £35m. It is looking unlikely at this stage that Barkley will join Villa on a permanent basis, despite their owners are expected to invest heavily in the market.

Barkley is also on a 120k wages per week...

Last year there was a lot of talk that we were going to buy multiple South American players

I wonder if this is one of those

I do take issue with the Yaya Touré comparisons

Menino is vastly smaller/shorter

a full 12cm shorter and not nearly as strong

I mentioned (back when speculating about what SA players we might go after) his teammate, winger Gabriel Veron

One of Brazils most talented players apparently.

£35.2m is not that bad

Clubs also pay agents for contract renewals, so they are also included in the number of transactions and total expenditure across the season

The Blues paid agents for 69 transactions - including seven incomings and 23 outgoings

No way we will get Lukaku. Why leave Inter where your number 1 and playing under a manager who tried to sign you before and them again pushed to sign you? Not a chance.

Also for me, the summer window will make or break Tuchel here. If we dont go for players he wants then he will undoubtedly call people out on it and we will have a bad season like we did with Conte. The club has to commit to him or at least some signings he wants to compromise or it will be another messy season.

It could be a possibility if Inter's financial position gets worse and Conte leaves.

Even Hakimi is rumoured to leave Inter, it is said they haven’t even been able to pay his transfer fee to Real.

Why would Conte leave? Because they might change owners? I’ll believe it when it happens, people said he would leave last season and didnt. What manager would be stupid enough to leave after winning a league title? Or what new owners would be stupid enough to change managers after winning a league title?

No thank you, Lautaro is just another second striker not true no.9 like Lukaku.

Lukaku is a great finisher but with an atrocious touch, safe to say with him here and Werner combined we can say goodbye to any titles, we need a player who actually knows how to control a ball not another poor technical player to add.

I rather we use Havertz as a false 9 than buy another second striker.

Haaland>Havertz>Tammy>second striker addition>Lukaku.

This order for me.

This shit still needs to be regulated. Agents are contributing fuck all and yet the selected few that broker most deals are almost as well paid as the players. It is a disgrace. In any other business middle men are regulated and have clear and transparent fee structures. Like any market, the transfer market would grealy profit from the absence of friction. Fifa/uefa or whatever authority need to impose rules here asap. But I guess they are too fixated on their own share of the spoils to care.

Am just saying what has been reported.

Who knows what could happen if Inter's financial situations worsens? If they have to sell players to balance the books, then do you think Conte will just be happy to sit around, seeing players being sold and potentially not being able to buy anyone?
