Yes I agree we could replace them eventually, but we're practically throwing this season into the trash by keeping these defenders disgruntled.

It's hard enough to make top 4 in this league, and in this one season where we were in good a position to challenge for the title we're seemingly going a bit kamikaze.

Just watching City seemingly go for a 3rd title in a row is a bit frustrating. Reminds of me our own failure to do a 3-peat years ago.

Nobody in EPL wins forever.

There are just two/three teams in europe, in the best leagues, that win with frequency. Bayern, Juventus and Real

The rest wins the time a time. It is what it is. Even City, that are win a lot of trophies, soon or later will break. Its the beauty of EPL.

Liverpool needs to wait 30 years to win the title again..

Most likely Kovacic and Kante for Wolves. YEAH!

Not sure that’s a good thing, tbh. One who just had COVID and hasn’t played in months and the other has been injured for weeks.

Don’t expect them to looks sharp at all and that would be fair enough.

If its a Ruben and Jorginho midfield then a defeat is inevitable.

Is that what you take from Everton game? 80% possession. Many, many chances, Jorginho robbed for great assist by James. Conceded after set piece. They were least of our problems.

Never been so demotivated for a game. Not because of our form but this whole covid situation is defo going to impact the season and can see the league being suspended soon.

I’m not going to be able to watch the match since I have plans with family and I’m not even that bothered after that Everton performance. It just sapped my positivity about this team.

True. As uninspiring as that midfield was vs Westham, Manure and Leeds, they were quite assertive vs Everton.

It is not just the missing players, it is the collective confidence that has suffered as a consequence of our deteriorating play once Kante and Chilwell are out. Kind of knockon effect. We dont win the ball as early, we don't get behind the defence as often and the team starts to get more nervous, we start conceding goals again and everything breaks away. Add to that the covid chaos, fatigue, the hectic schedule. Every game begins with a huge mental burden already. Those players are still just humans, albeit for the money they get they should be superhuman but just never will be. Esp team athletes are often a lot more empathetic, dependent and sensitive to group vibes than individual athletes who can rely on just themselves and more often can produe the mental resilience to turn things around. This shows the importance of real leaders in a team.

Hate to admit it, but if we lose tomorrow we legitimately do have to start worrying about Arse. They’re steadily grinding out wins against all the teams they should be beating. Unlike us.

Nobody finds it odd that some games are arbitrarily postponed and others go on?  What’s the actual threshold for postponement?  Five key players out with covid protocols and all three recognized strikers last match but sure press on 🤔
