Chelsea 1-1 Burnley

Fucking shambolic result considering the way the game went. Who would have thought we would have conceded only our 2nd goal in open play against this shitty side.

That being said, let's take a step back and look at the fixtures we've had since Lukaku & Werner got injured.

Always a chance that we would have dropped points, and the fact that we'll still be top of the table right before the international break of it with only 2 points dropped, is not too bad considering.

Kai may have scored the goal but he is not the man who can win matches.
Barkley shoots at the pigeons.
Horrible. Burnley were like Norwich but their goal counted for two points instead of making it 7-1.

2 points dropped. As mentioned 25 shots 4 on target, not good enough. This is why a natural CF was also a necessity.

Hugely significant dropped points too considering it would of gave us a 5 point gap over City.

Still early days in terms of title charges but not a good enough result today.

Still top of the league and if we had taken chances... we would have won easily. Let's look at the positives... thsi could have been one of those frustrating losses but instead it was a frustrating draw... with a point on the board and still top of the league come the International break.

Well, we had chances to kill the game but we didn't.

True, but our manager bringing RLC to play through the middle (?) at 1-0 had just as much bearing. He's paid to make choices that positively affect the match.

Have to wait three weeks till we face Leicester, Juve & Utd within a week. Hopefully Lukaku & Werner return.

Could be. That is why I am not even angry. Yeah, we should have wrapped it up by the HT but again, if it was that easy, we would be walking the league.

I suppose but this was a chance to really maximize the fixtures. 3 of our next 4 league games are against Leicester, United and West Ham. The annual dodgy winter period awaits us now...

City lost 3 points against Palace at home, Liverpool lost 2 points at home too last weekend. Laughable to think we would be winning week in week out.

Fuck sake, these matches happen. Get over it. It is not like we were bad and deserved this.

sometimes there is just nothing we can do, on some days we will get away with it like against Brentford, it is what it is. This is why this league is unpredictable, nothing is a given. Look at West Brom last season against us…

We really need Timo and Lukaku available for those fixtures
