Its so fucking weird and highly concerning that we can't even create opportunities for Werner, nevermind have him scoring. Not getting him in channels, not getting him isolated 1v1, not getting him on the shoulder of the defenders to spin in behind. Nothing. The entire reason we bought Havertz and Werner was to get the former on the ball in the middle with the latter running in behind. And we're not doing it at all. If we can't use the wing, then we're almost useless. I suggest everyone to watch the game carefully and check how many times we actually play combination football in the middle.
