That's a ridiculous header from Zouma! So unlucky.

Its so fucking weird and highly concerning that we can't even create opportunities for Werner, nevermind have him scoring. Not getting him in channels, not getting him isolated 1v1, not getting him on the shoulder of the defenders to spin in behind. Nothing. 

The entire reason we bought Havertz and Werner was to get the former on the ball in the middle with the latter running in behind. And we're not doing it at all.

We didn't look bad at all in attack that half but it's nowhere near good enough. Lots of half chances only.

I think teams have clocked how we play and they block the wing to make us ineffective. If we can't use the wing, then we're almost useless.

I suggest everyone to watch the game carefully and check how many times we actually play combination football in the middle. You'll be shocked, because all we do is pass to the wing and hope someone puts a good cross in.

Pulisic hasnt been bad.

 

Werner and Giroud havent been too good, but there is a gaping hole where Kai is and it isnt helping. With midfield or in attack. We'd be getting overrun if Kante wasnt such a beast.

Kante and Pulisic were strong. Our midfield of Havertz and Mount are providing no creativity.

 

Havertz surely looks like he's struggling to cope with the physicality of the Prem. Even if you're struggling, you can still have that work rate and show like you're interested in the match which he isn't doing.
