Villa got fucking lucky to lead at HT and for me it was a matter of time before we levelled and kicked on. Lots of work to do but with all others slipping up around us this weekend that was a huge 3 points no matter how you look at it. That certainly help because ruben is clearly not ready to play, Barkley also offer more offensive threat than kovacic. The biggest problem once we got the lead and we need to protect it we don't have any more midfielder who can defend. Villa had the benefit of a game prior and it showed. We cannot play like that against City and I fully don't expect us to. You could see how rusty we were.
