One of the best halves under Lampard, considering the options he has at his disposal for today.

Just don't fuck this up. Not winning this would be criminal.

We've played well but been a bit sloppy at the back at times with Alonso and Zouma causing us more problems than the Everton players. Need a third to put this game to bed.

Actually it showed how good Willian, Pedro and Giroud are.

Even Mount, Barkley and to some extent Alonso look good vs such an incredibly poor Everton side. We should not overestimate this. It is a one-off that an oppnenet allows us so much space and time on the ball without moving bakcwwards properly or parkign the bus. Few have argued that this side lacks technical ability but rather the grit, determination, physical and mental toughness to impose themselves ona game that is not going in their favour and to see those games out. This match is like an exhibition were we are hardly pressed or challenged. Wtih the technical ability this side has this is not the problem. Once Everton inevitably pull one back via a zouma mistake or a corner then we will see if this team really has matured.

Yep. Not getting complacent. Hope we do not see a repeat of what happened against Sheffield United. Fingers crossed. Next goal is crucial.
