Yes, many of the greatest managers were mostly average players (Ferguson, Clough, Happel, Michels, Mourinho, Klopp, Guardiola, Ancelotti, Capello, Hitzfeld, Trapattoni, Lobanovskiy, Hererra, Busby, Guttmann, Rocco, Shankly, Stein, and Paisley)
Was Ancelotti really average? He won one title after another during his career and played with many of the greatest players ever

He was alright but never a world class player.

For a bit of redemption, Chelsea must dominate City and win the game. Anything less and the boot beckons. Because we could end up 11th if results don't go our way. And damn close to Arsenal.

If we dare swap places with Arsenal, gosh...maybe Arteta IS better than Lampard.

I am not often really negative about a game, but I am really dreading a Shitty pounding of us, and badly

they are overdue for a rout of a decent team, which they have done so, so often in the past 3, 4 years

:(

Depends, at least for me. If it's another cross and pray game I don't care if we win.

As if we will suddenly change. People keep on talking like we'll suddenly play a different style if Ziyech is back, when in fact, we'll just be spamming more crosses in.

Understand that, but I think there should be at least some progress and at least some attempt some interplay. That's also why LampardOut for me because it really does look like this is his philosophy per the interview post Villa game.
