Im all for Conte out and Sarri in but that is just disgusting from Willian. Would be happy to see Willian feck off aswell. Geez...It seems some people really believe there is even a small chance of Conte staying.

Painful at times to watch a player I've loved but not consistent enough to make us truly regret selling him. I would love a Willian for Martial swap. Even in Martial's brief cameo yesterday you see exactly what he brings. With consistent game time and a manager who isn't an asshole like José he can become a world class winger/hybrid forward. Willian can still provide moments or small stretches where he's top class but he rarely sustains it. Willian doesn't even touch Mata's status at Chelsea. Mata was the shining hope in one of the craziest season in our history, a two-time POTY, and - of course - part of that magical night in Munich. Willian's greatest achievement at Chelsea on the hand is being the least bad player in our worst season in 2 decades. Even with Mou saying he is not going to be in the market for forwards this summer we know thats bollox, There must be summet going on in that camp for him to dis Lukaku the way he did in interviews. I honestly dont want Willi to leave and specially not to those Manc twats. And not for Martial I didn't see any signs of Conte saying a goodbye to the fans after the game as you would expect if he had thought he was leaving. I see him staying to see his contract out and just hope we get a big enough transfer chest to buy our way back into contention. But its not a 1 window fix. Honestly I didn't think Martial did anything of great note that would encourage us to swap Willian for him other than show his pace. He can become this or that is too common a factor, hes struggled to really hit the nail on the head at United and to progress, even under van Gaal after his explosive start he has never really progressed and I don't think that any United fans would necessarily disagree although in front of goal he is a natural goal scorer I think, always manages to chip in with 7-10 goals a season, that would be a plus but for me if Eden stays where does he play? Right wing? Hes a wide forward, that would be a waste. As a 9? Not sure. I think the next wide player we sign needs to be more a creative player than a goal scorer, Eden is in the same make up but he cannot create every goal for us by himself, he needs help (although I still think Eden's goal output can improve and hopefully next season he will chip in with more although hes done alright this season considering how average the team has done). Suppose it all depends on the coach, formation, etc but if we do actually move for him or not but I don't think if he was to just be signed for a cash deal that he would necessarily play every week here, especially if Eden stays, because I can't see him excelling as a right winger as opposed to what he could do as a left winger. I don't see the next coach playing Eden as a number 10 either which I think has been mentioned. I think hes better coming from wider and roaming into more central positions, centre of the pitch gets pretty congested. Unionjack

Wasn't comparing their status or ability but rather just how I feel about them as players. Willian has been one of my favorites here just as Mata was at the time. Like Mata, I would be sad at first to see Willian playing for a rival but would get over it eventually since he's not good enough to elevate them to a whole new level. Indeed, but Willian is a 2 time PL winner (something Mata never achieved) and FA Cup winner, those are great achievements. Its pretty funny that people get salty because he just doesn't get along with a manager that is already sacked.

If he doesn't then fair enough, numerous high profile examples of this over the years. People aren't happy with the way he's showed his dislike. It's classless and distasteful in my opinion. Either keep your thoughts private or be respectful and mature in the way you do it. He could easily give an interview once Conte has gone to say that unfortunately he didn't see eye to eye with him and looks forward to a new manger coming in. Instead he acts like a petulant, sulking child. 11Drogba and pHaRaOn

What's funny is people like you, who disrespect a man who has won us two major trophies in two seasons, with every chance you get. It is a myth that your posts are controversial, they are plain toxic. I bet you didn't even celebrate when we won the FA, you just sit there contemplating what you will post next to bash Conte. No matter what you or some others say about him, he will go down as one of our most successful managers in all our history. Nowadays people complain about the way political correctness is taking over of football, but create a whole situation after a player put a trophy emoji over the manager on a instagram picture. People being salty in this situation has nothing to do with "classless" or "distasteful". Both Conte and Mourinho came with comments in past years that can be easily described as "classless" or "distasteful", but their fans alway used to LOVE their attitude, describing them from "badass" to "a man with genuine emotions". In my opinion what is happening is exactly what I said, people got mad because William showed no respect for Conte, but why should William show respect or a man who is probably gone? Its like saying any player should show respect for Mourinho for the things the did in the past. His instagram post came after the end of the game, when the season was also finished. Willian probably knows that Conte is also finished as Chelsea manager, so the thought he could share what he really think about the Italian. Popular Post! Supermonkey92 1,428 Posted May 25, 2018 Popular Post! Share Posted May 25, 2018 Looks like he is off. I hope the man gets a quality job pronto (outside of England!). As a man, he has been absolute class. Probably the guy with the best manners and character since Ranieri. Who remembers him clapping the Sunderland fans last season for supporting their team through relegation? He gave so much passion in the first season. Giving hi 5's like he was a fan and jumping into the crowd after Hazard scored a blinder against Arsenal. He took a team with a shit defence and went on a 13 game unbeaten run. Won the title. Beat Jose 4-0 In his first return at the Bridge. Counter punched Guardiola away. Dropped Ivanovic and Terry as soon as he could. We beat Atletico away in their new stadium. Apart from one mistake from Christensen, played a masterclass against Barca at home (did Willian hit the post once or twice? I remember the Spanish paper's saying how Barca escaped our 'spider's trap'). After a difficult season gave us the FA cup win over Jose no less! 2 trophies in 2 years with Guardiola, mourinho and klopp. Not bad Antonio. I'm papering over the cracks ofcourse. When we were up against it our football was unbelievably defensive. Fallout with Luiz and Willian haven't helped. Towards the end even I was fed up with how much he went on about transfers. Overall, I think he'll go down as a legend. At his best, he was literally like a 12th player for the team and an extra fan when we scored. Fiery, and never took shit. No wonder he fit like a glove here!! Johnnyeye, Leeds nil, bigbluewillie and 10 others

Are you comparing Conte with what Klopp did? Taking Liverpool and their 'pathetic players' to a Champions league final? Where they lose their best player in 30 mins? The end result sucked for them in the end, but all 3 of the Madrid goals came out of nowhere. 2 being down to the goalkeeper.

Klopp's team is depending on only one player, without Salah they are average. You are telling me that you would trade our last two seasons with Conte for LFC's last 2 seasons with Klopp (and no trophies)? LFC is overrated. You don't remember the seasons when you win nothing. Yes, we didn't get CL and ultimately that isn't good enough for a club like ours but Conte does deserve tremendous respect for what he has achieved with our bang average squad.
