Popular Post! Fulham Broadway 17,333 Posted May 1, 2017 Popular Post! Share Posted May 1, 2017 He was getting more carried away than a lot of the fans at the end yesterday, superb to see. I love his energy and passion, but at the same time the way he's so measured before and after games. It's genuinely refreshing not hearing some bollocks in an attempt at (not so subtle) misdirection - He tells it like it is, but still protects the players (note how he didn't say a thing about the virus after the Utd game and instead blamed himself for the team and formation he put out). Even if we didn't end up winning anything, it's been a tremendous season in the context of how things panned out last season. Give him whatever he asks for in the summer and we're in for a treat over the next few seasons.... Popular Post! Beigl 1,387 Posted May 5, 2017 Popular Post! Share Posted May 5, 2017 This man deserves so much credit. I mean last summer we were pretty much clueless what to expect from the upcoming season and in September many of us thought can´t compete for a top 4 place. Now we are pretty much champions. Thanks Don Antonio. blueblood22, bluephoenix, kellzfresh and 5 others

Heisenberg 1,824
Emotions are high but I think what Conte achieved is even harder than what Jose achieved in 04/05. Incredible how he turned this team into PL champions, we'll forever be grateful for his job, even tough we all know next season will be hard like hell and players will sleep. Popular Post! Fernando 6,585 Posted May 6, 2017 Popular Post! Share Posted May 6, 2017 Well that's pretty much it. Now I can sit back and relax, look forward to the summer and see the players we can get. Because this one will not be repeated with these players, especially if we lose some of them. Hopefully the club does everything to get all of Conte targets. He deserves to get whatever player he wants after this season. If the club doesn't back him with transfers etc. he WILL leave. It's the main reason he left Juventus. Because he felt the Juve board didn't back him enough. And Juve is his dream club so that says something. Johnnyeye

Poch is already too far up Spurs' asses. Conte has to stay at Chelsea for the long-term. We are craving for a manager to stay longer than 4 years and not getting axed by Roman. the wes, Johnnyeye, xPetrCechx and 2 others

What I would say though is he might be a bit more expansive if he has the players for it. Simeone has tried to make them more attacking this season but it's rather failed as Atletico don't have the right players for it. As for Pochettino, he does play good football and build good, solid teams but there's a huge question mark over his ability to get his teams perform under real pressure. Spurs cracked under it last season in the title race and similar thing happened again this time around. They also bottled a League Cup final, a straightforward Champions League group, the Europa League tie against Gent and the FA Cup semi-final. And not to mention, Pochettino threw away the cup competitions by rotating his side while at Southampton. Conte staying longer will depend a lot on how we do in the Champions League, and keep doing well domestically, it would be great to win the Champions League again someday, but with Real Madrid and co around its just too much to ask these days, maybe with the right players available we could give it a push again, i miss seeing us competing in the latter stages of the competition.
