Rmpr 8,977
Talk about nailing the team selection and tactics... That is why Jose is the best, he can think outside of the box and win those crucial matches!

That, I believe, was the celebration at the final whistle. He did that before shaking hands with Pellegrini.See the caption for the last picture in this news article below.http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2551229/Chelsea-little-horse-Jose-Mourinho-claims-Blues-two-big-horses-Arsenal-Manchester-City-title-race.html NiclasCFC

Barbara 15,149
sorry, but that game was drawn because nothing we could do would change that I disagreed with some of Mourinho's choices (especially the subs and the time he took) but we could have played the entire squad for 5 days and that 0 wouldn't be removed from there. Let's take a moment to recognize WHU defended flawless there... we were unlucky, didn't have the players to finish it for us (something we never do anyway) and despite Mourinho's minor mistakes, I don't think he earned to be judged by that result... his mistakes were minor compared to the greatness of WHU defense skills in that match I can't agree with this. West Ham definitely defended well, but in the last 10 minutes we came within inches of scoring multiple times, with perhaps the biggest chance right at the end when Lampard missed a sitter. In retrospect Mourinho was definitely too slow to make changes, but hindsight is 20/20 and Jose was probably confident we would break them down with the players we had on the pitch. I imagine he was worried about a freak goal on the counter as well because it was clear we weren't going to bang in a lot of goals. We created the chances, we just didn't take them. With better finishing that game was ours. But that's what I meant anyway. Mourinho's mistakes weren't the reason we drew but their defensive skills and our already known and old inability to score. His mistakes were minor imo. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Note 4G using Tapatalk Drogzola

But the question now is, why didn't we see this earlier in the season? zyzz
yuvala 2,167
Do u guys believe Mou on the whole "little horse" thing or do u think he's just playing mind games ?IMO he's being honest about it. He knows we have a chance but he still favores City or Arsenal to win it and his main ambition is to prepare the team to winning the title next season. ZOS 580
José Mourinho and Chelsea's remarkable tactical transformationthe author tried to make it look as though we were 'reactive' last night, he went on and on about how the 'old' Mourinho is back after the Sunderland league cup defeat and that its 'OK' and people should appreciate his tactics... a very misleading article to what Jose is really trying to do, IMO Stingray, bababoom, kellzfresh and 1 other

Stingray 9,441
José Mourinho and Chelsea's remarkable tactical transformation the author tried to make it look as though we were 'reactive' last night, he went on and on about how the 'old' Mourinho is back after the Sunderland league cup defeat and that its 'OK' and people should appreciate his tactics... a very misleading article to what Jose is really trying to do, IMO I thought the same .... He confuses constant pressing, going up in numbers and be dominant, falling back when not in possession and hitting them hard on the counter with 'reactive'. Quite wrong tbh .... If anything, it is called being 'agentic' which I very much prefer as a term. bababoom, Barbara and ZOS
