Henrique 9,133
After last season it was clear the team need improvements. I don't get why people realizes it after a pre season friendly match. stroey and Peace.
Heisenberg 1,824
A great team was never made of players who had hard work exceed technical ability.Man United 2010/2011, they won the title because of a great coach and hard work, also because every other epl team were shit as ... but they finally took a lesson in the UCL final. Popular Post! Fernando 6,743 Posted July 23, 2015 Popular Post! Share Posted July 23, 2015 People are ridiculous freaking out over a pre season match. I didn't even watch it and even after looking at the score I didn't care. Because you know what? Pre season means nothing. It's just there to help your players get in shape. A training session nothing more. kmk108, Madmax, darrus and 2 others
Popular Post! Pizy 19,375 Posted July 23, 2015 Popular Post! Share Posted July 23, 2015 This quote scares me a bit. It doesn't really sound like a typical José mind game where he lies to the media about transfers. We HAD the best team in England LAST season. There's no guarantee that everyone will perform as well as they did last season or even stay fit. Plus ALL of our rivals will have improved drastically.City, Arsenal, United, and Liverpool have all splashed the cash on players that will directly improve their first XI. Are we seriously not going to sign any quality additions!? Peace., Henrique, TheIceMan and 6 others
Popular Post! Despiadado.Maleante 1,046 Posted July 23, 2015 Popular Post! Share Posted July 23, 2015 Mourinho: We have already sold Filipe Luis. We do not need a substitute. We have a squad already complete and in that role there is Cesar Azpilicueta, who is the best left-back in the Premier LeagueSeriously starting to piss me off. Does he not understand that squad depth/ qulity depth was our biggest issue last season. Not only has the squad been made smaller its lost quality aswell. zolayes, xPetrCechx, TheIceMan and 3 others
Popular Post! zolayes 14,489 Posted July 23, 2015 Popular Post! Share Posted July 23, 2015 last year we were very lucky with regards to injuries especially in comparison to the other top sides . We MAY not be so lucky this time , I fear we do not have the depthto deal with an injury crisis. stroey, Despiadado.Maleante, ZOS and 3 others

Otherwise, it's bizarre to think a manager as experienced as Mourinho thinks this squad is complete or perfect.

Would've laughed at someone who told me on the final day of last season that we'd start the next one with a weaker squad. stroey

The only surprise now, if anything, is he hasn't made any noise about the board. Despiadado.Maleante

Pizy 19,375
Think it's stretching it to say we start next season with a weaker squad. We basically still have the same squad as last season.Begovic for Cech is a downgrade and Falcao for Didier is a wash basically. You're right, it's essentially the same, maybe slightly weaker. Just so frustrating seeing our rivals splashing huge money (I know, they need to catch up to us) whilst we clearly have the money to spend but are choosing not to.The most frustrating thing is seeing City pissing in the face of FFP and likely splashing £100m+ on attacking players when they already had the best attack in the league. They clearly aren't afraid of the rules and are showing huge ambition. Conversely, we have areas of the team that sorely need reinforcement and Josè says we need no signings. Even signing John Stones looks like it's off now. We're still an injury to Hazard, Terry, or Matić away from disaster. zolayes
