i'm not buying into the media crap cosmo, you fucking space cadet, you are. i don't think taking arsenal apart 6-0 last year was being defensive, and me and no one else is moaning about that. your the one focused on how defensive we are no one else.fucking hell we beat everton last week 6-3 and we weren't defensive enough now we come away from the etihad with a draw were too defensive. you just can't please some people.

I wans't talking to you. Calm down. I am the one who said that CHELSEA IS NOT A DEFENSIVE CLUB. Do you even read my posts?

Barca at the Bridge under Hiddink was a way better approach than Barca at the Bridge under Di Matteo, for example. You can't even compare the ties. But still, it's true that Hiddink had a better squad back then. This is another topic of discusion.

I think you are falling in the trap set by the media. Chelsea is not a defensive club. We just tend to adopt this approach at certain points of the seasons and this is what bothers me, to be honest. But Chelsea is also the club that set the goal scoring record in the Premier League, under Carletto, for example. Chelsea won a lot of games by playing good attacking football, even under Mourinho. The fact is that most of the time, we are not parking the bus. We just do it on some occasions, but I think that we should stop doing that because now our team is strong enough to allow Chelsea to look like a balanced positive team against any opponent. We have enough quality to try controlling any game or at least avoid parking the bus, even if it's against Barcelona or Real Madrid. Since I'm at it, I would like to point out again that, as I said before, City are far from going through their best times, and we should've at least tried to take advantage of that, by playing with a little bit more courage against them. Imagine if we were 8 points clear now. All that enthusiasm and that joy. And the message that would've been sent to any other team in the League and Europe: we are Chelsea, we just beat the champions, we are 8 points clear top of the league and we are not joking about this. Instead, now people are talking about how we parked the bus at 1-0 with 11 vs 10...

It was better to watch but we were better than Barca then and the Barca against 2012 Chelsea was arguably the best club side ever. That is changing and has been long before Jose came back, we just haven't had a manager long enough to see it through.

I'm not falling into any trap, I've been a fan long enough to draw my own conclusions for this club. Mourinho's Chelsea was built on a strong defense first.

When you have Ashley Cole, John Terry, Cech in the best moments in their career you've got a platform to build from. And I don't know what you're talking about, nowhere have I used the words park the bus. What we are building an adaptable squad capable of playing in and winning any type of game we get involved. You mention Carlo's 2010 winner, do you remember getting our tails handed to us at City? or the game Utd outplayed us out home only for JT to rescue the victory? I'm talking about having respect for your opponent and knowing what is the smartest course of action to take to either secure a victory or in the case of the City game a point.

Do you guys actually think Jose, with a 5pt lead, was gonna play as open as we were against Everton? Each game calls for different tactics.

man city got owned last year at the etihad, it should have been 4 or 5 nil save for the bar, post and dandruff boy. do you think that they was going to let us be first to every ball again? if that game was played in europe two man city players would have been off, they kicked the shit out of costa and hazard all afternoon. why cos if they didn't they would have got owned as they will when they come to bridge. pellegrini knows this .and so do the wenger boys watch what happens to arsenal in a couple of weeks.

You're forgetting about the FA cup win immediately after that game. Pellegrini already made adjustments, Mourinho didn't.

You mean the game we didn't have our best defender, our captain in? the one we lost our best striker in after 45mins? Ya no adjustments were made at all...

We lost that game! We were 5mins away from winning this game! What are you talking about???

"Mr Pelligrino" gave his players clear instructions to prevent Chelsea from counterattacking by any means including chasing our players by hands, if this game was refereed by any other referee there would be two more red cards at least for repeating this more and more on our players...

Willian has been fouled 7 times !!!

even Silva has made this kind of fouls against us..

So he pretty much knew how we was going to play.

The best is always to surprise your opponent like we did against Arsenal in the 6 -0 game.

Next game we play against them Mourinho needs to surprise them.

Only now I watched Pelegrino's interview to Sky. What a bitter loser he is. He has a big complex towards José.

He kept saying 'everyone is going to play like that to us and it'll make it difficult for us to defend the title'. He's already making up all kind of excuses for not winning the title. I don't think teams changed how they play against City at all, if anything this year they're trying to capitalize more because clearly his team in the pitch hasn't reached the heights of the team from last season, despite the few changes and the addition of Mangala (was really impressed with him tbh).

Another piece of bullshit he said more than once was that what matters for him is to play football, because the fans want to see a team that plays football and what the sport is about. Okay, piece of crap, go play your shitty football and finish the season without a (relevant) title to see what the fans will tell you. He's so bitter, jealous and intended to play mind games with Mou that is not even funny! Loser.

Never had a problem with Pellegrino until after this game. Clearly the fact he's never found a way to beat Jose in the league is killing him. Moron... we have a 5pt lead there was absolutely no need to play open-expansive football against them and he knows it.

Ironic comments from Pellegrino really. Said we played like a 'small team', like Stoke but yet they only managed to take 1 point from two matches against us and Stoke and this despite having a frontline that cost a fortune! What's more, he likened us to Stoke and yet he instructed City to play like Stoke with all the rough and physical challenges. Pathetic. Alan Pardew was probably right to abuse him last season..
