You're almost always the one going against prevailing opinion with your 'commercial business' rubbish, so cut the guy some slack.

There are some arguments to be made against Jose being appointed...but even if they were well made and well-supported, there's one question.

Who the fuck else is there?

Pep (who took a year off after Jose won the title) is going to Bayern and Klopp is going nowhere. Pellegrini is a massive gamble no matter what anyone says and everyone else is a level below in my opinion.

I had reservations but this is a different Roman hiring a different Jose. We can speculate on the way he uses the youth or his transfer priorities but until we actually see it in action then it's hard to criticise.

I feel it will be different this time , Sam has said he leaves Teams in ruin when he leaves , but i think he will want to be here for the long haul. What else does he have to achieve maybe managing his country. So why would he only look at short team success , i think we need to give him time and see what he comes up with.

People have the right to their opinion but at least give the guy a chance to do something first. It is the first time in a long while that i feel we have a competent manager!

Yes he's arrogant, yes he's high maintenance, yes he brings drama but this club has always had that in it's history. We're not Arsenal happy to just compete and we're not Liverpool looking to live in the past and play up to some mythological standard of football - we're Chelsea Football Club and Jose is Chelsea.

Try watching the fucking match and realise that the pragmatism and character exemplified in the Barca and Bayern matches was PURE Jose Mourinho.

Jose and Chelsea go together it is hard to explain but there is something about John Terry ,Peter Osgood and Jose Mourinho that perfectly exemplifies Chelsea . They all just have the Chelsea style and charisma . Jose Mourinho is the only manager for Chelsea there is no other and lets hope he can stay Chelsea manager for longer than the four years of his first contract.

But if you think the club will be in tatters when Jose leaves then you are saying that Jose has a great presence. After all, if he was a bad manager and he left then surely the club wouldn't be in tatters.

The club is over 100 years old as you rightly point out, and it will survive when the day comes that he leaves. Be it 2 years or 10. So just enjoy the moment (or don't) and get behind it, and i'll be enjoying jose's second coming at the club for however long it may be.

And apart from those two balls, it was the likes of Ramires doing the hard shifts to perfection to keep the likes of Barca at bay. As seen in this season Lampard has a tendency to struggle against fast plying opposition, bus that's an argument for another day.

We were winning fucking trophies before he came to us, and it was not just simply him coming in and creating the club. It took years and years of the likes o f Gullit, Vialli and Ranieri making us competitive on the European stage (we had already won tiles likes the FA Cup and Cup winners cup before that). Yes Jose has undoubtedly played a part for where we are, but to give him all the credit is in my mind short sighted. Fuck it if were not Ranieri getting us Champions league when we were possibility about to go out of business, then we would not have Roman buy us and subsequently Mourinho. But like I said there are so many negatives about Mourinho, and I prefer someone like Klopp because (even if did no last for more then 3 years) he seems to be able to build teams that don't so easily go over the boil once he leaves them. The opposite of Jose.
