Blue Colored Sky 1,807
Why we started the pre-season so late ? Mourinho never starts pre-season so late. I mean that was like 3 weeks before the season ?He wants to protect players from burning too soon but if they're rotated they don't burn so quickly, in January or so. If we had rotation options that have trust from Jose we would hit the ground running now. We don't have them and that means Jose is preparing his team for playing the same XI every week and wants them to last a longer period now ? That's good explanation I think why we started pre-season so late ... We simply don't have enough quality in the squad. The next 2 weeks are very important. Add one world talent in offensive/midfield department and it gives a little breath to anyone. Beigl and zolayes
Reddish-Blue 2,701
You know what won't surprise me?If this week we wake up to "Chelsea FC and Jose Mourinho have parted by mutual consent"That wouldn't be a bad thing.

Special Juan 28,864
It's going one way right now IMO and it feels awful. Pre season was a shambles and the start has been exactly the same. Jose, your backs against the wall son, you need some magic, and quickly. CurlyHairLikeLuiz
CMS 382
Not posted for months & nothing changes here, same old rinse Mourinho out to dry & repeat when it ain't going our way......oh less not forget we have to play wonderful attacking football whilst being respectful to all & sundry - cus that's all what matters more than winning, integrate young players whilst keeping a check on the finance's?! Anything I've forgotten please quote me - yeah miracle worker José is, can manage a miracle, part the waves & throw in a 'Messi'arrrhgggghhh' to boot!Less not forget last season where we were the first team in 10 years to make a profit in the transfer market that went on to winning the title whilst being top all, yes all season to boot!So we sell Cech when he categorically states to Arse (& board) that if you take Cech then I want one of your squad (to weaken it) our mob let Cech go without José getting a return, so this is the state of things to come! Nothing like last season or the days of Kenyon where a list of targets were done & dusted before the season began?! Oh but let's just blame José.....Some of you are fucking embarrassing & & I can't just point the finger at the 'johnnycomelatelys' either cus there are some fans on here that have been supporting this club longer than I & that's what makes it even harder to comprehend.Get a fucking grip some of you ffs or fuck off & support a team that's more to your likening, Jose isn't this or Jose doesn't do that or he should of done this or that I hear you bleat, well nobody's fucking perfect & José is no angel but we'll bounce back this season & all the shit written on here will fade along with doctorgate, then the hypocrisy on here will be out in abundance!Support your fucking team through thick & thin & that includes you old timers.....I feel like i'm on an Arsenal and DM forum. To say this is a Chelsea forum is simply exaggerating. Smh Essien19
CMS 382
I used to really like Mourinho. He was funny, charming and had the world of football in his palms. Now, he just seems bitter about something. There is a chip on his shoulder. Watching his interviews these days just isn't the same. Did something happen in his personal life? Is he just burnt out and tired?Bloody hell, he stated that City was a 'false win'. What does that even mean? They scored three goals that were without controversy. What is he trying to accomplish? Is he trying to build another 'siege mentality' against the world? I don't like it. I don't mind if people hate Chelsea, they are entitled to their opinions but I don't like how Mourinho is giving a rotten image of the club through his abrasive personality. He just makes the club so easily hatable. He did the same to Inter and he did the same to Real.I'm sure he is a fine person behind closed doors, a great husband and father but his media image as of right now is very, very negative. Means "unfair reflection of today's game."

CMS 382
There not supporting the team, then why is everything all but so negative......?Never said anything about things all Jose just reiterated some shit from posts previous, in fact I stated he's no angel! However there are pages on pages of bollocks of doom & gloom cus of doctorgate, etc etc, tbh I'm not going to have a long drawn out cyber discussion cus I've far better things to do with my time. However its astonishing reading some of the bollocks written on here just a few months after winning a Prem league title for the first time in 5 years & that was the only one we one since Jose left with largely his signings! We are not going to win it every season, its far tougher nowadays & fans have to be realistic to that fact, far too much pessimism for my liking on here.I've resigned to reading for laughs. The only thing Chelsea about this forum now is the blue color. GodZola, Essien19 and Fulham Broadway

Blue Gino 377
The board and Mourinho need to go on a retreat, spend a few days with Mother Nature and sing songs around a campfire. Really let their egos go and share feelings over some weinees and s'mores. Come back refreshed and get on the phones to make some deals. Fernando 6,743
We have had unsuccessful years, but the stadium was always full and only United sell more kits than us. Fans support the team through thick and thin. Top football clubs in England have never received so much support in the history of football. It is silly to call for support when some fans criticize the player or manager that you are fan of.I believe Mourinho wanted to become a legend o Premiere L. like Ferguson. He already left his mark but he is an ambitious guy who wants trophies and I am not sure if he will be happy and motivated if the money flows to develop the new stadium as he will have less funds to improve the team. He came here for titles. If he does not get the financial support he needs I expect more tantrums and drama caused by him.Well if we are truly going to go spending less and want to rely more on youth then we got the wrong man for the job. Can't expect a manager who's good with money to change his philosophy all of a sudden. So again all this flows with what direction the club wants to go. Best thing is wait till the end of the season and see what's going on.
Parky 739
To be realistic and fair to Jose it is way too early to be calling for his head. However I am angry like many others here with Jose's actions and stubbornness over the last two weeks.I will say this though. If we do not fight closely for the title and we exit miserably in the CL while playing with exactly the same tactical approach and starting with the same XI with the likes Ivanovic, Ramires and Cesc as they consistently under perform than things could change. Many of his loyal followers may switch their way of thinking. Jose need to know benching underperforming players is a big part of sports psychology and beneficial as it keeps players hungry and focused. Also having a more progressive and wider tactical approach is how success should be achieved in modern football. I believe the days of turning football into a street dog fight is limited in the success it can bring for a large and modern football club. CMS 382
Barca had a torrid first half of the season last year. The coach had fall outs with his main stars and rumors flirted that Messi would be sold and all that, and what happened? They won a treble. They've lost games in their pre-season and just lost 4-0 to Athletico this last weekend, did the sky fall? Oh ye men of little faith and fickle minds, running down the forum with doomsday predictions, listening to rumors and gossips of people that do not care for our success. We've lost only one game and tied one. Geez! Arsenal hasn't won jack in 15 years, they still support their team. These lots are jealous of the investments put in by Roman. Have you forgotten how we were so broke and had to have the stadium owned by stakeholders? Or how we so horrible at some point? I'll bet you none of you have ever invested in a team or anything of that nature. When you take your had earned money and put it a public venture for people to benefit from. All I hear is buy this, buy that. Is it your money? Why don't you put your money where your mouth is and see the difference. I have and I know what it feel like. Until you do, you don't know jack. How quickly we forget? Have you forgotten how we did not have a team and floundered around for five years until we finally won the league back after 5 years? Now, all the armchair comedians are out in full force, telling us how we are going to perish and get relegated for some silly assumptions or the other. City is accepting applications, so is Arsenal and Man U. .I'd rather be left here with four Chelsea fans spurring our team on, than is a room with some of you lots. That said, that is my opinion. Fernando 6,743
Then who is? Pep G. Benitez? Ancelotti? Dick Advocat? LVG? AVB? Please tell us.Well if the club wants to go with youth and spend less money then the best candidate is Klopp. If they want to continue to challenge for trophy then the man is Mourinho. So to me it depends what the club wants. And if the club wanted something else then why give Mourinho a 4 year contract? Thus we will continue the same model and with that same model we must spend. Can't rely much on youth but spend money and Mourinho and the club has done little of this in this new season.
Adnane 1,101
At Chelsea, we are well supposed to know that with every manager comes a period of crisis, we all know that from the last 10 years. Now as a Chelsea fan, if that ever happens, there isn't any manager in the history of football I'd like to have other than Mourinho. Call us blinded or whatever you want, but if I'm willing to put blind faith in someone, let it be Mourinho, I just know things will get better and we'll challenge for the title as we should again come the end of the season. It's so strange that apparently only Mourinho is a "guarantee for trophies".It's not that Klopp didn't play European finals and stuff. ;-)He just had the bad luck his team wasn't very rich so they lost their best players nearly every season. This would not be the case at Chelsea. We are not Sunderland trying to survive relegation you know. Those kids are three to four years away. At most, if we are aggressive, I'll say two years, which they are not.
