Pizy 18,907
The exact player we needed, i said it when we were linked to him the first time. Why nobody wanted to trigger the £21m buy out clause is a mystery to me, £21m in football nowadays is nothing, precisely fuck all. We now have a player that can have the same impact as Hazard but on the right. His touch is ridiculous, he's quick, he's technically fantastic and he scores goals and makes goals. A player with end product is what we've been crying out for. I think we're near complete now. I woke up excited yesterday, i'm even more excited now. This guy has won fucking everything, he'll feel no pressure like Cuadrado for example who's trying to make a name for himself. This team has now got a lot better. Hazard was awful yesterday, we won. We wouldn't have won with the same line up as the first 2 games. If Hazard doesn't play, Pedro will and when they're both in form, beware premiership.Agree with everything you said except for Hazard being awful yesterday. I thought he was great at times and good overall. Maybe the terrible conditions caused him not to be at his unstoppable best but he was still dangerous.Really excited to see us with 2 top class wingers now. Feel like I've said that with every new RW signing but Pedro is a big step up on any of them. Imagine if he has an Alexis-type season for us and we'd also have Hazard on the other side! LondonsFinest 692
anyone know how much Pedro is earning here?120k, I think. This guy, showed Salah, Cuadrado and Schurrle how you basically should make the jump. BUT. Give into consideration the fact that he comes from Barcelona with vast experience and his technical ability has been worked on there, immensely, and I am not surprised he can do wonders. BUT, what a debut, son. He just adds so much more to the right hand side. Pacquiao
Ollie 4,400
I just don't think Hazard was in the game, he looked dangerous towards the end on the counter but he over complicates things at times and his end product wasn't there but as i said, we now have a player that can change a game if Hazard isn't at his best and when Pedro's not at his best, Hazard is there. When both are playing to potential, we could be amazing. And we've finally got Willian in his best position down the center. It's worked out so well. MrBlueGuy 1,552
Admins here are so inconsistent, if we have full names for players this guy should actually be called 'Pedro Eliezer RodrÃguez Ledesma' and almost all our other players have long names . We need consistency guys BlueLion.
supporter 3,088
Other players say goodbye to their old teams criticizing everyone with selfishness, being ungrateful, ungrateful and bad people.Pedro has been different today and he has behaved like a gentleman. He is doing that I have to swallow my own words and Pedro is closing my mouth. And I'm happy with that. I wish he can score in the next game at The Bridge to consolidate in our starting eleven.Pedro - Pedro RodrÃguez - Pedrito - PeterRegards. stroey, bababoom and 1chelsea

iseah100 5,612
So glad everyone is happy he's here. I knew how good he'd be, several people didn't want him, but what a game he had. I think he can be as important as Hazard for us.
Unionjack 7,531
Doesnt this season already feel fuckin different??A few days ago I wasn't happy. I didn;t hold out much hope for us. Yes i thought after a month or so of training/experimenting we would wake up. But its amazing how a couple of players that we need in Pedro/Baba and with 2 players who we very much need going thru the transfer mill right now (one way or another) Im feeling much more optimistic.YES we still have problems. Deadweood that needs chopping down to let the forest grow. And we need upgrades in 3 or 4 positions but at least Im happy that we dont SEEM to have any problems behind the scenes which is just as important. We have a team willing to look at and spend big money on excellent players we badly need.Im praying this week is good to us. If we get who we want then Im booking my flight to the San Siro guys. The lads really well loved by Bara eh! iseah100 and Mana

Parky 739
What a fantastic debut. I'll be honest and say I underated him having only watched him in a few Barca games. Im very hopeful he will be a significant signing for this season success. A massive upgrade from Cuadrado.

I feel like I'm reading off an alphabet chart every time I open one of these threads.Notonly that but if we are being so pedantic maybe a picture next to all the players names so the ones who supposedly dont know theyre own players names just might not know what they look like! But Ive just been going thru all the YTs I cab find for him and in this media click report http://theprideoflondon.com/2015/08/25/top-5-pedro-moments-chelsea-fc-new-signings-best-bits/4/ I found this bit a bit dodgy eh!. 3. 2015 UEFA Super CupMany people don’t count Super Cups as proper competitions, but it is rare that you score a goal in a final that actually wins your team the trophy.RELATED: How Chelsea FC Spoilt Manchester United’s Pedro PartyThis happened just a couple of weeks ago in fact, when Barcelona took on Sevilla in the UEFA Super Cup. With rumours swirling that Pedro was on the verge of joining Manchester United (LOL), the winger was left on the bench from the outset. An incredibly entertaining affair ensued, with Sevilla overcoming a 4-1 deficit with little over 30 minutes left to take the match into extra-time.Pedro was subbed on and came up trumps in the 115th minute, latching onto the rebound as Beto failed to effectively parry a Messi strike. That would be Barcelona’s fifth, and the game’s ninth, goal that would hand the Catalans the win.Fast forward a week or so and the player had agreed a switch to Chelsea. This wasn’t the only cup winner that Pedro netted. Six years earlier in the 2009 UEFA Super Cup, Pedro again started as a sub, and again came on to score the winner in extra-time. What’s even more odd is that it was in the 115th minute as well. Weird, huh?Next: 2. FIFA World Cup Final
