Our two supposed top targets are also wanted badly by Liverpool - Ox & Van Dijk.

Seeing on Twitter that VVD has apparently been spotted near Liverpool's training ground today so he may end up there. Don't think we really need him anymore so not too bothered. Would really hope we can persuade Ox to come here, though. Would look pretty terrible if a player Conte himself is reportedly really pushing for ends up at Liverpool instead.

To be realistic, Ox may feel he'd get more playing time in midfield or in attacking roles at Liverpool than he would here. I'm not sure how he feels about playing at wing back but if he sees himself there obviously we'd be his preference surely.
