If we have to sell Cech to Arsenal then getting Ox in return would be the best course of action. Would be a great signing - he's young, English and actually relatively underrated. Hopefully his injuries would be behind him once Eva got a hold of him!

If we pull off selling our second GK(don't hate me for this, read through the context) and adding 20 million pounds for probably the player with highest technical and physical potential (in terms of AM's that are English), than I'd personally run naked.
Alex is a beast, he's head troubles with injuries, but is still 20 and is better than Sterling in terms of technicality and intelligence. His finishing is pretty smooth too. Signing of the summer for me if we bag him for the reported price.

With all that put into place, DOUBT it will happen, as Wenger knows his qualities.

One thing has to be said, though, he hasn't been getting the fair amount of game time he has to, because of Arsene's typical persistence and stubbornes. Whether it's Ozil or Ramsey on the wings, or the fact he doesn't want to drop Cazorla, Alex could be unhappy. Throw Walcott into that pit and you've got two perfectly good HG players eligible for a good deal. For me, everyone would prefer The Ox to Walcott, due to age, potential and so - on, but I'd take either one. That being said, as quoted above, if we pull this off, it is the steal of the market.

He seems like someone who could be taken to the next level at Chelsea, at Arsenal i always get the feeling with him that he doesnt take things too seriously, he seems too laid back with all his mates at Arsenal, he is surrounded by people like Gibbs, Walcott, Welbeck, Wishere, Ramsey ect, i get the feeling that he is probably someone who gets up in the morning looking forward to have a laugh with his mates at training rather then actually focussing on improvng. if he came here it would be completely different, i think his mentality would be different, and he would mature here into a top class player.

think he is just going to be another victor moses or mohammad salah . shouldn't buy him

You're not serious are you? If you are, I think you need to pay more attention to him, because he's a completely different player to Salah or Moses.

AOC is one of the most versatile midfielders in the league right now and with the age he is, he'll only go on to get better. I think this would be a great signing if we pulled it off, but I doubt Arsenal is going to let him come to us so easily.

i was not talking about his style of play, just his importance to the club

They go hand in hand surely?

The reason Salah and Moses didn't make an impact was because of their style of play, they're traditional wingers who didn't fit the bill. Oxlade won't have that problem because he can literally play anywhere in midfield.. He would definitely be important the older he gets.

Dont you think that something we need is a winge/RAM that can stay out wide, take the ball to the byline before he crosses it? We have too many similar players that like to cut in early. I'm not saying this is bad but we NEED to have depth in players that will offer us different options instead of at best mirror copies.

Yeah, I do agree about the issue at right-wing and there are players that can be recruited as winger specialists. But AOC wouldn't stop that happening, because of his versatility he can play with anyone and anywhere.. He gives an extra dimension to any team. I'm a massive fan of him, ever since his Southampton days, because I really do think his natural talent can make him a great player. After all, he is only 21.
