Really tempted to want Mou drops him in QF away from home leg and generally from now on against physical big teams. He is gonna develop into a Oscar, always goes missing in big games and his work rate is not even as good as Oscar anyway.

Think it's time to face the music, he is close to terrible when facing athletic players, completely neutralised. His only position for us is CM but I'm starting to question his displays in most big games. I think a pure 4-3-3 should be tried.

Nothing to do with his fitness, just overall style of play. This is not the first game this season either which he goes missing when it begins to get physical and tough. He is just not suited to that type of football, nothing wrong with that as he got other area of his games which he is superior to majority of other mids in the world.

Lets face it, he doesn't have the energy to press for 90 mins, it is not his specialty. At Barca and Arsenal he never had to do it because they dominated possession 90% of all their games.

Been saying that for a while but everyone was wanking on him because he was great in small games.

He can help us win the PL but not CL.

His passing and vision is amazing, but his hold up and play under pressure is bad. Take space and time away from him and he will perform like shit.

And it has nothing to do with illness or injury.

I don't see the point of playing Fabregas if Mou's tactic is to sit back and defend. Rather play with Matic-Ramires-Mikel. He is running around chasing the ball and completes >10 km of running, but to what end. Rather preserve his for EPL and make sure we win that.
